Anyone know where I can get some D6 with the numbers 5-10 (rather than 1-6)??
I know I could pay shedloads for people to custom print on all six faces of a die, but I wondered if there was already something available (or alternatively, where the cheapest place to get dice printed is??).

I've seen a lot of weird types of dice, from the likes of EM4 and the Dice Shop, but I don't think I've seen any like that. I think Nevelon's suggestion is the easiest. (with a slight twist in that you could find number decals and put them on recessed-face dice or with a lot of sturdy gloss varnish)

Or you could roll a normal D6 and just add 4 to the result...

If you're only after a small number I'd get them laser etched as having transfers worn away is always annoying, they start looking rubbish pretty fast
http://www.dice.co.uk/fs_specialdice.htm
paying a few pounds to avoid this would be worth it to me,
if you're after large numbers the cost per unit will come down, but you may decide transfers (or pen) on blank dice is the way to go)
Automatically Appended Next Post: ah I have found some

you could also try asking https://www.thediceshoponline.com/ as they claim to be the bggest supplier in Europe (I can't see any but their search function is not the best)

JohnHwangDD: I keep seeing your avatar, and this statement stirred my embers in a most inappropriate way.
What are the dice for? I imagine adding 4 every time you roll would get old about as fast as the numbers wiping off. Laser etching sounds boss, cuz, well, *lasers*.

Actually, rolling d6 and adding 4 is exactly what I should be doing - they're for the random Leadership in a Renegades and Heretics army. However, you need to leave them next to the unit as markers and a marker that says '2' but means '6' or says '6' but means '10' is bloody confusing. Also, regular d6 have a tendency to be easily cleared away. I could use d10 as markers, but would prefer things I could roll and get the right numbers.
JohnHwangDD wrote:Why not drill & paint new pips?
Well, a Renegades and heretics army can easily be 20-30 squads strong, and drilling pips in 20-30 d6 is gonna be a nightmare. Plus, I don't have the equipment, would like them to look good, and don't want to imbalance the dice!

That might be the best option. Thanks! Ideally, I'd have them smaller, but it doesn't look like that exists anywhere. I might email thediceshop anyway...

Maby tokens would be the most easy answer? Wet erase markers work on acrylic right? Just have blank tokens for each squad you write the ld on with a wet erase marker. WhWhipe your tokens off with a damp rag after each game.

You're just doing markers?
I'd print chits and glue them on pennies. No confusion that they're die results, larger and easier to read.
BTW, this would also work for BFG ship leadership.
