Hey Guys

So my buddies and I are starting to get into Warmahordes and I have picked the Khador faction. I have the duel beginner box stuff plus eSorcha, winterguard with the captain/banner models, two rocket guys, widowmakers and KovJoe. I also have a Kodiak warjack in addition to the other jacks from the starter.

This is a list I thought of last night not sure if it works or not.

full winter guard with captain/banner and two rockets
KovJoe
Widowmakers
3 of the shield manowars
Destroyer

My idea would be to have the Warjack and eSorcha in behind the manowar shield wall and the winter guard blob on one of their flanks with the widowmakers on the other side.

What do you guys think?

No big issues. Khador tends to rely on leaving the 'Caster with a fair bit of Focus and having a well-supported light infantry unit, you've got those. If you decide you like the MOW unit it might be worthwhile to look into an Iron Fang Kovnik, he makes them a fair bit faster on the way in relatively cheaply.

I have a somewhat similar list, 25 pt Khador (not to hijack the thread, but with similar desire for input).

This leaves me with 6 pts. I was thinking 2 Rocketeers, a Greylord with the Reavers, and a Widowmaker Marksman but I'm flexible with anything for those points.

With six points that sounds pretty good to me.

eSorscha is a solid caster. Basically anything works with her since she has a deep toolbox. I would drop the MOW personally but thats just me. MOW are generally garbage.

So I'm almost done painting my 25 pt pButcher list, and I'm wondering about a few alternatives to expand to 35 pts. Also looking for a good second caster, right now leaning towards pVlad or pIrusk.

Both of them are good casters. As you probably know Irusk loves his infantry. pVlad is pretty good all round.

If you are still relying on murdering the other caster with your fists, pVlad is probably your best bet. Irusk isn't much of a melee master, but is very good at board control.

My thought is that the same list (or close to it) would be fine with pVlad without changing my playstyle too much.

What should I do for the extra 10 pts to bump both lists up to 35? More infantry or maybe a Jack Marshal with another jack?

What about if you dropped the Widowmaker Marksman, and added a full unit of Iron Fang Pikemen and an Iron Fang Kovnik. Iron Fangs are a solid melee unit and the Kovnik let's them walk 8" while in shield wall. Making them some of the fastest non-running infantry out there. And their mini feat allows you to push them forward under shield wall, charge, and than reform back up into shield wall.
