Due to having an unsteady twitch that really hurts my highlighting with a paintbrush, I have been looking into fine tipped pens that I could use to highlight my models. I have tried prismacolor but they tend to get clogged with paint they lightly scrape off when I use them. Anyone have any reccomendations? Someone said micron pens are made for this kind of thing, 005 is what was recommended. Mabye I will have to see if I can order them, no hobby stores or michaels type places around here carry them.

I just bought some 0.03mm tips and put them in 0.3mm micron pens - god damn it is amazing, now I have so many pieces of text to write on battle honours

I dont mean to be offensive here, only curious.. But how would holding a pen be different to a brush? Surely a hand twitch would affect a pen aswell?

I think he means panel lines and such.
Frankly, once your tip gets fine enough to do that you're always going to be at risk of clogging the tip or scratching the paint. You just have to develop a feel for it.

The Gundam pens are pretty good for that kind of stuff, otherwise you can try using the Model Master Acrylic washes (or even watercolors for that matter) and wipe off any excess around whatever you're painting with either a wetted q-tip.
