Does anyone know (have we been told yet) when the Emperor's Children changed their colors from Purple/Gold to Pink/Black?

I'd like to start a 30k Emperor's Children traitor army and I want to know the best colors to use. I seem to remember some vivid description of them in Angel Exterminatus, but I don't have my copy of the book anymore. Had they changed by that time?

I think it happened after the Siege of Terra, in the Eye of Terror. There are some old pictures of EL troops marching on the Emperor's palace in their original colors.

This may have changed...

Not sure if there's an "Official" date when the ECs changed their color schemes, but I'd imagine once their allegiance became known during the Heresy that some of them likely started decorating or repainting their armor as they descended more and more into debauchery.

So, you can probably go with whatever you like. Might depend on whether there's a specific 30K period you want to model.
Early HH/Pre-Istvaan ECs? Probably pretty close to original color scheme.

By/During the Siege of Terra when they went completely Cuckoo for Cocoa-Puffs? I could see them going full-garish mode during all the chaos and murdering and other Slaaneshi-diversions.

I was planning on doing Angel Exterminatus era. So some of the wackiness is starting to show.

I may start to blend my royal purple into EmpChld pink. The army will be a base of standard Legion troops, splashed with Kakophoni. Lead by Eidolon (revived).
