hey i have some questions i would like your in put on because the atc organizers arnt up and running yet lol

1. Do you think the ATC will enforce the new 32mm bases for marines, or allow them to be on 25mm?

2 do you think the ATC will allow codex detachments and or character LOW ?

I went to the ATC in 2014 and will likely be there in 2015, but I do not represent them in anyway. With that in mind, I imagine that:

1. No, they will not. The new 32mm bases, as stated by GW, are purely an artistic choice to improve balance and make the DC look more intimidating. You are not required to use them at all, and may use 25mm bases as normal with 0 questions asked. No GT will require 32mm bases be used, pretty much guarenteed.

2. This one is a lot more open to interpretation. I personally imagine that codex detachments will be allowed (I believe that Orks were in 2014) but there was a blanket "no LOW" rule in 2014 that included Ghazkul. I expect to see that remain the case.

1. The rules states that you use the base the model was equiped with. So other MEQ models than the new BA should be on 25 mm bases. I can hardly see and GT houseruling this any other way the next years.

2. This is a call for the TO so they will have to answer. If you look at the other and bigger team tournament for 40k on the planet, ETC, they have allowed for 2015; all suplements, all detachments and formations, and characters LOW. ETC has been one of the more conservative GT for years. I think more and more GT will go for the same aprouch. And ATC too. ( in ETC FW is still out, and only 2 detachments)

I think we should remember that the sanquininary guard and death company is being repacked with 32 mm bases and the new BA tactical squad is being boxed with 32 mm bases as well.

Whoops, never mind then! Well you'd have to ask the ATC people honestly for Number 2. The game has changed since then with much more options allowed, and I have no idea how they'll run it. All I hope is that we will get some details around Christmas time, so that I can start working on lists at the right points value...
