I stumbled across this game, and the art / aesthetic is incredible!
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/vermingames/bright-future/
They have a ton of their content up to view on the Kickstarter page. A peak at some of the "Outpost" cards:
And the back side of several card types (Outposts, Settlements, and Anomolies, followed by Items and Characters):
I love the appearance/style, although I'm not into these kinds of games enough to comment on the mechanics shown so far, etc. But they seem to have put a ton of content up for viewing. Also, this is encouraging in an age of barely-conceived projects getting funded on Kickstarter :
Risks and Challenges wrote:The game has been completed in its "virtual" form: all cards and other materials are ready to be printed.
This Kickstarter project is aimed at collecting the necessary funds to actually print the game.

This sounds really cool. Just not sure if I can afford to back it right now. Maybe though.

Just noting this is up over 5K pounds, so funded and moving towards stretch goals! Love everything I've seen about it so far, surprised it hasn't gotten more coverage.

This does indeed look very promising!
Am I correct in assuming £20 for the game at the 'tunnel citizen' tier?
If so that is very reasonable.
Like the fact that you can play as a mutant also, and £100 for your own self to be made into a character has to be one of the cheapest types of offer of this type I have seen to.
Interestingly, they say they are linked with this other Indigogo campaign which is producing miniatures based on the art (and which would serve as a substitute for the card playing pieces)

I'm watching this project for now. I may back it (or not) depending how it looks in the last 48 hours. I will not, however, be picking up any minis, as crop-tops and underboob don't really mesh well with gasmasks and zombies, at least in my mind.

All the concept art for the male characters are covered head to foot in protective gear. The female characters are dressed like those in the images you posted. That simply doesn't work for me.

Bright Future is made by Vermin Games, so the company running the IndieGoGo (RN Estudio) is just suggesting that their minis could be used with Bright Future.
They are NOT the same company, and I agree with JoshInJapan, the board game really appeals to me, but not that other company's IndieGoGo campaign miniatures, which only fit the aesthetic slightly ( imo).
So just the Kickstarter game this thread is about for me

30 hours to go on this sweet looking game! It's over £9K, so has done quite well but remained manageable, my favorite kind (and usually the most on-time / successful in fulfillment) of Kickstarter

Hopefully it is more of a question of "when in time is this game set?"
