If you have Betrayal then you have the army list and the rules for your legion already, so you won't neec the gamers collection. Easier to transport though.

I do really enjoy the lore aspect as well so I am angling towards one of the larger books.

If I can't decide I will spring for those though.

I'd go with Conquest. From all reports it's the perfect addition for someone who already has the army list and their legions particulars.

Itching to pick it up myself.

Agreed. If HH1 is all you have, then you only have about 85% of the full legion list, as well as missing a few extra WE specific options.
