But i though its specific application for my question below would need a new thread.

In the new Blood Angels Codex, when you read the following option:
Any model may replace his bolt pistol and/or chainsword with:
- Hand flamer

Can you field a model with 2 Hand flamers?
IE "replace his bolt pistol and chainsword with Hand flamer" = "replace his bolt pistol with Hand flamer and replace his chainsword with Hand flamer"

or is the wording meant 'replace both to get the 1 Hand Flamer'? In which case i would question a lot of the current army lists.

Since it uses the word OR you can split that sentence out into:

Any model may replace his chainsword with:
- Hand flamer

Any model may replace his bolt pistol with:
- Hand flamer

And then because it uses the word AND you can use both of those sentences

As above. Two hand flamers on one model .

So Tactical Sergeants can take two hand flamers..
Why do they even have separate lists if it's just: "Hey, here are a dozen weapons.. Pick two of whatever!"?

Speaking of multiple weapons, did anyone notice they went back to the unclear wording from SW instead of the clear "One of the following" from GK's with their Relics?
Could that perhaps mean they DO intend people to take multiple on a single model?

Actually, GW uses and/or improperly, so if the BA codex is like every other recent codex, they explain what and/or means in the unit entry explanation section.

To sum up, they mean you can replace both and get two hand flamers.

Strictly speaking...

You can replace A and/or B for C

...can be written as...

You can replace (A and B) for C
OR
You can replace (A or B) for C

Using the normal English definition of and/or precludes taking two "C"s. But since they defined what they meant in the Unit Entry explanation, you can!
