I love the mom whose like (paraphrasing) "my kid isn't a sore loser, all she did was cry and run backstage" . She should totally get her daughter into 40k, 7th ed sounds like it was made for her. Good on Trebek for sticking to his guns.

Yeah I saw this article floating around and it is ridiculous. It seems that the mother and girl are upset but instead of being mad at themselves for the poor showing they are targeting their anger toward the show and Alex in particular. Trebek hasn't done anything wrong.

Yeah, it sounds to me like she really was a sore loser... I'd probably have to see the tape to be sure, but from what I've heard it sounds that way anyway.

Unless he went full blown Gene Wilder at the end of Willy Wonka, I see no possible way Trebek could be at fault. Was he supposed to walk over, hug her, apologize, and then taker her hand and lead her off stage?

I know it is a child, but the rules are pretty standard.

Too many Americans believe their children are special little snowflakes. I see our once great country declining due in part to everyone's sense of entitlement. This woman and her daughter are a perfect example.

Trebeck is right in not wanting to re-shoot. Not sure the woman or her child is at fault for anything though...
