I didn't see this yet, but back in November on their (Aliens vs Predator) facebook page, after months of silence, they said a little snag happened.

"Hello everyone. Sorry to cause panic. We (Prodos Games) have made a clerical error when cleaning up our Kickstarter maintenance page. If you look at our projects you will see that there are two un-started projects. We were hoping to get them deleted (just to tidy up our work space), but didn't convey our request clearly. As such the AvP website has been temporarily closed in error. We are working to get it back up. Hopefully it will return in all its glory within 24 hours. Sorry to panic everyone. (Just goes to show a tidy workspace isn't always the best thing)!"

Today I went to their kickster site,

"Alien vs Predator The Miniatures Game is the subject of an intellectual property dispute and is currently unavailable."

Aliens vs predator the miniature game facebook page says nothing and prodos hasn't mentioned anything.

Wow - that's scary for anyone who has backed.

I thought they had licensed the IP from Fox?

Ugh... I was really looking forward to this game.

Prodos themselves post in the thread that has been covering this for weeks since the story broke. Unfortunately, they don't tell us much currently (and what they previously said was as best contradictory and at worst completely misleading).

Glad I stayed away from this one.

As Warboss says, this has been covered for weeks now in the other thread in the Misc. section.

While the comms from Prodos hasn't been as good as it could be, and the posting on KS in particular hasn't been well handled, we've been assured the game is still on its way. This was a quote from one of their guys on the forum a few weeks ago:

However, our job is to make sure that peoples are aware about the progress and they know that the product is not at risk, maybe then we could discuss the future of AvP rather than "possibility of not receiving their stuff" , as this is not the case.

Thread title needs changing from its red-top style sensationalism into something more appropriate; I looked at it this morning, spat out some of my tea and my heart skipped a beat - would be nice to avoid doing the same thing unnecessarily to other people who have backed the project, I think!
