Okay so if I have a Stalker tank in my army, and I use it to fire at infantry (bad idea, I know) is it always prudent to use its servo-tracking mode? What this does is it allows me to make the shooting attack at 2 different targets, and at BS2.

Does this override the skyfire USR that says when firing at non-flyers, non-FMC, non-skimmer units, you have BS1?

Because firing at 2 different targets, 8 shots in total, all of them BS2 would be too good to be true.

Hell, even if the Stalker couldnt do that and was forced to use BS1, the idea of firing at 2 squads with the full weapon profile instead of just 1 would make a stalker tank twice as good as a Hydra when firing against infantry.

Also, just as a sidenote, non-twin linked BS2 is better than twin-linked BS1.

Did GW think this one through?

Only special rules that specifically mention that they override Snap Shots do so (page 33, firs paragraph).

okay thanks.

Still, 8 Shots at BS1 spread on 2 targets are better than 4
