I... actually don't know. Help?

As we all know, the Chaos Obliterators are expensive, even compared to other GW prices. So, I've thought of buying a box or 2 of Terminators, and converting 6 of them to Nurgle Obliterators, using Green Stuff and Plasticard.
If you google around, you'll see some pictures of things I want to mimic.
Any ideas?

Try adding extra cables, or giving them cybernetic legs.
That tentacle arm in the box would be cool if painted metal, and given spikes.

Plasticard & GS can go a long way. Might also want to check out this blog as its got some interesting takes on chaos conversions.

seeing as obliterators look like a crappy terminator conversion anyway, i cant see it not working. just stick a load of guns into some GS on their arms..voila.

youre welcome. you cant tell me you like the oblit models? if you do you may be the only one. they should get rid of them and make some chaos centurion equivalents, they would probably look loads better.

I never cared for the sculpt of the GW. So I went with these as alternate. Price is around the same or less depending on were you buy them.

I converted my Thousand Sons obliterators from a cheap on ebay, Dark Vengeance terminator. Bulked it up, and made it taller at the waist with sculpting putty. Built the arms out of pieces of sprue, with weapon bits and a power fist glued on. Then smoothing them out, and giving them shape with more putty.
