I have a 1500 Point Tournament this Sunday and looking to finalize my list. I am running a Blitz Brigade with a CAD of Boyz in them.
Blitz Brigade:
Battle Wagon, Rokkit, Ram, 120

9 Tank Bustas, 3 Bomb Squigs 132

Total: 1500
It is a straight forward list the Warboss joins the squad without a 18 Boyz and they all, "GO FASTA, DAKKA DEN KRUMP!!!"

From what i can see the whole point is to get the boys into close combat. if thats the case, i would drop the shootas, take choppas and sluggas, with the points i would put red paint jobs on the wagons, and points pending, pick up some rokkit launchas or scorchas into the units.

The only shootas are the free ones that my Nobs and Warboss get. All of my Boyz are Sluggas.
I should have been more clear on that.

oh my bad. i saw shootas, didnt see "slugga boyz"
regardless, i would find a way to get red paint on the wagons. no list should be without it.
i would drop the stikk from the warboss. right now he has a 6+ save and thats it. you can drop the stikk and give him heavy armour and cybork body giving him a much better save and FnP for a lot less points. with a power klaw he will need to make saves or he will never get to swing.

I'd say find the 15 points to give the Warboss Mega Armor and keep the Lukky Stikk. It is an amazing combo.
DLS MA Warboss with BP is 130... Find a way to get him in there! Automatically Appended Next Post: I'd also recommend filling the Wagons with different threats. 10 Tankbustas in a couple of the wagons or some burnas, something to divert fire from your Warboss's wagon.

@Blood_Knight RPJ is a massive waste.
Lemme Esplain, no there is no time, lemme some up.
Scout move, Move, Flatout = 24"
WAAAGH!!!, Combat Speed, Disembark, Run, Half Rerollable Charge = 12+1d6+2d6 = ~20"
Total = 44"
Even on a Hammer and Anvil that only leaves 4" which is less than a Rhino.
Also most Wounds the Warboss receives are in a challenge and anyone ballsy enough to go against him has a PW as a minimum. That only leaves him with a 6+ FnP.
@Waaagh 18 I think you are on the right path I can sack a few Boyz for that.
I can run the numbers and see how many Elites I can get in exchange for the Boyz.

I have been cheating since Summer.
I must have blended Ere We Go and the Warlord Trait: Like a Thunderbolt!. when I read the book and committed that to memory.
Thanks for the save. That is my second long term misunderstanding.
I guess I will be running an inch or 2 less.

Are you sure you have your points right? I'm pretty sure that Battlewagons are now 110 points base these days, 5 for the ram then 5 for the Rokkit...?
I would recommend something like this. As some Waaagh 18 said, give your Warboss Mega Armor, it works brilliantly with Da Stikk.

I think you may need to check the rules mate. Red Paint only gives a +1 bonus when you turbo boost. ONLY when you turbo boost. It's a waste of points now. CAD:
HQ: Warboss, MegaArmor + Da Lucky Stikk + BP = 130pts (maybe 140, sorry I don't have my book to hand)
Troops: 17 Slugga Boyz inc Nob + PK , Nob, Free Shoota, PK = 137
Mini Mek (naked) = 15pts
HQ: Painboy = 50 points (never leave home without one)
Troops: 20 Slugga Boyz inc Nob + BP + PK = 154
Elites: 3 Meganobz (if you're wanting to go for a CC army, then these guys are key)
Elites: either 7 Tankbusters with 3 Bomb Squigs or 15 Tankbusters. 7 are somewhat better in this list as you have the scout move to have the bomb squigs released early game.

17-20 in a Battlewagon.
12 in a Trukk.

I mostly see front armors of 13 or 14 or Jinking vehicles, as such S8 BS2 doesn't do much.
So instead I punch them in the Rear AV and hope they blow before my Nob Explodes the vehicle.

Except for Deamons I don't see a lot of infantry walking around.
Rokkits would be better against FMC, but I usually ignore them until they come down for a PROPPA FIGHT!!! Except for the serious casters they can't do anything and even then I have all of the objectives covered with AV 14 front vehicles.
Although it might be fun to mix in a BW of dedicated Rokkits...

Orkz are unique in their ability to carry a large blast on a 12 man assault transport with scout for roughly 150-180 points.
Soo many points wrapped up in transports, another small investment in killkannon gives them something to do after scouting and dropping off their passengers. The template mows down MEQ and blobs. It can't hit fliers and isn't in enough quantity to hurt vehicles/MC. Tankbustaz can easily fill that gap leaving perhaps just something to be desired versus aircraft.
You will be trying to drop off your passengers near a fight, and tankbustaz are 24" range always. I don't understand why a wagon without a KK is just supposed to ram things after disembarking but wagon with the KK is suddenly bad "because the wagon doesn't want to be close". Wagon with KK scouts then moves six inches drops off some guys then spends it's life firing large blast templates instead of ramming things. It's already in close why not give it arguably the funnest thing to do while it's parked midfield. Besides now your enemy has to do something about it.

That is very true so many people are worried about shooting their own guys, but you aren't required to shoot the same target as your crew or disembarked crew.

I ran the list above and came in dead last.
Game 1 Eldar
Lost 4 BW in rounds 1 and 2 due to 3 single 6 rolls blowing them and 1 was hulled out. Then he rolled very high on the explosions and dawn near tabled me by second turn.
Turn 3 I managed to kill a few troops and his 2 Wave Serpents. Ga me ended 5-8.
Game 2 Tyranids.
We had so many models that it only went 2 turns.
Turn 1 killed a few Gaunts and and injured some of the MC. He did 1 glance on a vehicle.
Turn 2 I wiped a Giant Squad and killed the Exocrene. He kill 20 boyz. Things were stuck in and about to get good. He grabbed the objectives and time ran out. 2-7
Game 3 AM / Imp Knight.
Turn 1 took the Knight to 1 wound with my Bustas and got my Boyz in charge range. He destroyed a BW Killkannon and the Bustas from that one.
Round 2 Bustas shot and assaulted Pasquale and his 2nd tank, destroyed both and 6 of themselves, running for the rest of the game. Warboss assaulted Knight because I thought the Stomp happened after 1. I killed the Knight but he 6 Stomped instant killing my Warboss, 8 Orks survived that. Other Boyz assaulted his Tuarox and Wyvern hulking both of them. I had him completely flanked and nearly decimated. His Vendetta came on and exploded my last BW w Killkannon. His vets jumped out and decimated the left squad and what remained of the Warbosses Squad. Breaking both.
Round 3 Rammed his last Turow and destroyed it, also rammed HQ Chimera leaving it with 1 Hull Point. Right Boyz got hung up on the Wyvern Wreckage (Warboss was dead so no WAAAGH!!) Warboss unit rallies out of rangevery to even snap fire. He kills everything except for 8 Orks in the right unit and 2 BW. Game ends 2-12.
Games 2 and 3 were fun but I was out maneuvered and learned that hulling a Vet Vehicle only sets you up to be shot to pieces in return. Also the Knight mistake really cost me.
Thoughts?
