Its strange where life takes you. Before I go on I think one of the main reasons I nearly quit
40k was I'd lost track of what my goals were. I'd been lucky enough to have a large playgroup at the local shop, but eventually things got a touch competitive. It began innocently enough, but soon we were really beginning to optimize. I should have just been building wild things and rolling dice. Thankfully I've rekindled that spark with a few good friends and we've decided to get together and play for the

of it again. My advice would be to just enjoy life and the company you keep.
My Grey Knights have been set aside. I think I just lost interest in the color scheme, or they were wrapped up in sour memories, not sure. After a long time of debate, trying to figure out if I wanted to start another army, I found that chaos had been whispering in my ears all along and so I did what came naturally. I gave in.
I figured Slaanesh was a cool theme, good potential for conversions and I find pink and purple to be fantastic colors. Sadly cash flow is a slight issue at the moment, but I have managed to maximize the kits I've had lying around. There was a Dark Vengeance box collecting dust as well as a truckload of bits gathered from friends throughout the years. Good thing friends, especially when you have a bunch that hate modeling and painting, you're sure to get a ton of bits!
The following models are in the works.
Yet to be purchased:
x1 Chaos Terminator Lord
x1 Slaanesh Daemon Prince (that is going to be fun)
x2 Hellbrute
x1 Chaos Sorcerer
Needing Assembly and Conversion:
x4 Chaos Terminators
x10 Noise Marines (including 2 blastmasters)
x2 Chaos Rhinos
x5 Havocs
x11 Cultists (for sure now)
Ready for Paint:
x1 Chaos Land Raider
Finished:
x1 Hellbrute
First up for a progress shot is the Dark Vengeance Hellbrute. He's about 1/3 painted at the moment.
I may add to the base, it doesn't speak to me yet. I really like this sculpt, tons of fun details to find!
I decided to give my cultists a unique look and I happen to have a ton of Dark Eldar lying around. At the moment they are on temporary bases for painting.
I need like 20 of these ladies and its going to drive me mad gluing on those horns.
My Blastmaster needs... work, a lot of work. Not really sure what else to do in order to make the weapon look more interesting. Any thoughts are welcome!
And that's what I have at the moment. Its been only a week and already I feel I've done a lot more work then I'm used to. I might have been a bit lazy before, but now that the creativity is flowing I'm finding it hard to stop. Once again any ideas for Noise Marine conversions would be awesome.
