... ...It seems like he'd ( Ryan Renolds) would just fit the part of Andy to a T...honestly it's how I've pictured Andy since the very first Blood Moon.

The guy who played in Green Lantern?
Also...in a bid to think of anyone else besides wolverine to play Harlow...the only alternative I have yet to think of would be Karl Urban...specifically for his performance of "Black hat" in Priest...the movie might not have been awesome but Urban's character was pretty good IMO...

See I could see Russel Crowe as Harlow...based on his performance in 3:10 to Yuma...but...it's not quite right.
...And yeah...the guy who played Green Lantern...though I see more of his Character from Blade Trinity in Andy...

You see one of the first names that popped into my head was Crowe but no, Crowe doesn't really give Harlow's character justice...
Its a toss up between Jackman and Urban really...I really hate to say Jackman because he's become synonymous with that sort of character and therefore I feel its cliched but I can't deny his ability to pull it off though...

Jackman is good...but as you noted...so overused...
...My real problem is that I tend to see characters as actors " from the past"...Young Christopher Walken as Pontious for example...so it's difficult to come up with " current actors".

Example: I cant keep a straight face as I try to imagine Andy flying around in green tights and a mask...sounds like one of his silly posts...
Don't ask me why but I always imagined Natasha as a maniac version of Liv Tyler...

Too bad I haven't seen Blade Trinity...
There are quite a lot of movies I haven't seen actually, which makes this job a whole lot harder...the unfortunate truth is I'd have an easier time equating Blood Moon characters to video game characters...go figure...
For instance...John Marston is easily Harlow...Nathan Drake is Andy and for some reason I see Musater as some sort of less hardcore version of the hitman...
You've become much too predictable Fitzz. I knew you were going to say that about Tyler...and I'd be forced to agree with ya...

Meh. It's a bit of typecasting, but it would work. I imagined Caine as more or a suave gentleman in his 40's than an aged man.

Hmm, Scarlett - Rachel Weisz Olivia - Helena Bonham Carter Nero - Bill Nighy Byron - John Barrowman Stranger in cloak (to be revealled) - Geoffrey Rush. - Both Bill and Geoffrey from 15yrs ago, age wise, but their character acting would be awesome. Rachel and Helena probably from 10yrs ago, so early thirties.

Well the only other thought I had for Byron was Gary Oldman, but that might be a bit cheesey considering the connection between him and the 'stranger' character, although Hollywood does like stuff like that.
Would need to be 1992 Gary mind, which would make the connection even more obvious.

Pontius as a young Walken... this devious plot, you're doing it all wrong, it needs more cowbell.
As far as Ryan Reynolds goes he does fit the cocky attitude and in Smoking Aces he also had his can do attitude and loss of his peers and people he looked up to.
Now when I think Ryan I think Clive Owen for some reason, might just be because the guy kills people for a living.
Now Harlow, I think Josh Brolin, John Wayne, or Jeff Bridges from True Grit.

Or for a high-five.
So, I have a couple of backstories planned as well, unfortunately they are time dependent and I think Fitzz wants to save that for when the RP begins. I will say one thing that is going to be present in all of my RPs regardless of time, and that is a compound. Nothing like the hotel fortress in the Zombies thread though where Halon was in charge, this is more like a plantation with a wall sort of deal.
I've also been working on Claudius and his personality which I began to outline in the last RP, but I've added on to it. Claudius is an ancient roman vampire, a bit younger than Pontius though, and was a horse breeder for the deadly, fun chariot races they had there. He loves excess and misses the way things used to be and is a bit of a Romanophile. He likes modern clothing but decided that he wanted to carry on roman traditions and wears dark purple just because he had money and status in the ancient world.
Claudius took Andy's younger sibling in the deal that Andy's parents made and instead of killing her, raised her as one of his own and treats her as a daughter. She is completely unaware of her relations to anyone else and for all intents and purposes, believes that she is related genetically to Claudius through some long distance heredity(which is false). Claudius never had any children due to his orientation but due to some event he decided that he wanted an heir to his estate just in case something happened. This is where he fractured a bit with traditional culture of his times, but he decided that he wanted to gamble a bit with the genetics because he thought it would be interesting. However, following traditional traditions in naming, her name is Claudia and she was embraced as a young adult because Claudius didn't think ghouls and other slaves would take orders from a little girl seriously.
Claudia does share the genetic traits of Andy which means she has the capability to be as brutal, she had one major difference in how she raised though. Because she was raised as an intellectual she isn't as brutal and blunt as Andy, but more cunning and precise. Where Andy uses a crowbar to tear apart someone's knee cap, Claudia uses a scalpel to sever the achilles tendon.
The "plantation" has a main house designed after a roman villa with multiple floors(two floors and a basement), there is an atrium in the center of the villa and all windows in the house are covered by automatic shutters that are closed during the day and opened at night. Besides the main house there are stables, a field, slave quarters, a small barracks/armory for a few ghouls, and a wall with a gate that surrounds everything. A long but narrow private road leads from the gate to the main building with the slave quarters and barracks lining the road. The slave quarters are closer to duplex's in nature, but each features a living room, kitchen, three bedrooms, and a bathroom.
So that's my backstory for Claudius and Claudia, just to give you an idea of who they are when my introduction for the next RP is written.

Not too familiar with Brolin...Wayne was a very good actor and portrayed the "cowboy" image well but the thing is he was always the hero...Harlow's more of an anti hero, he's in it for himself...Wayne just doesn't have that darker part of his character...
Bridges is just too old...though his performance in True Grit was pretty awesome...
Good suggestions though...

@ Silly...Nice work my friend...as always.
Brolin 20 years ago would have made a good Harlow...
John Wayne..?...nope...personally I find Wayne's acting to be as staged and wooden as watching a puppet show...
The more I think about it...the more I realize that they are few modern actors that I could see in most of these roles...at least from the " well knowns" crop...
I do think Bjiou Philips would make a great Kerri..but am drawing a blank on most parts.

Maybe that's for the best considering the quality of mainstream celebrities and acting persona's these days...
Just means we have a bunch of actual "real" characters instead of the shallow stuff most movies have in them...

For Brolin and Wayne, I was looking more at facial features not necessarily acting. If I wanted someone who could at like Harlow I would have to say Harrison Ford, he was pretty good in Cowboys and Aliens as a cowboy but his characters tend to be rogue in nature and that makes me think Harlow.
And Udo Kier would be fantastic as Pontius in my opinion.

Exactly...if I were having an easy time thinking of who could play whom ( especially amongst the sea of most current "stars") I'd have to seriously consider killing every character off...
I mean How boring would a character be if say...Shia Lebuff...or Collin Farrel instantly jumped to mind concerning them.
