Right, so not the same. Plus it requires you to get a specific power, and cast it without it being nullified by your opponent. The comparison is silly, sort of like the circular conversation that's been occurring for 5+ pages.

If LoWs ever do get banned (and I don't really have a position on if they should or not), I just hope that LoW characters still are allowed, just putting the ban on GMCs/Super Heavy LoWs. Imotekh, Draigo, Logan, Dante, and Seth obviously shouldn't be banned, as they don't exhibit the same issues as a Lynx, Revenant Titan, Warhound, etc.

Alot of the east coast events are banning gargantuan creatures, and super heavy lord of wars, so I wouldn't worry about that.

I would expect that there would be allowances made for such characters, I don't think I've ever seen the characters banned, just SH/GC units.

I have seen the characters banned at the GT level.

Yup. I've found myself pushing back and wanting to play kill team more and more instead.

Some of the attitudes in this tread baffle me. People just outright dismiss your ideas because "you aren't playing in LVGO, so why should it matter". Well guess what, alot of friendly tournaments and game stores around the country cant or wont come up with their own rules and assessments of the game, and will simply copy/paste from successful ones. Now personally, I hate allies period, and am not a fan of super heavies, even single knights. But thats me. If I choose to be in a tournament that allows these things, I have to accept it or move on. But not being able to voice my opinions on an open vote when the outcome of the vote does affect me (the tournaments here largely rely on 2 detatchments, and took up the rules of no blasts on flying creatures, and nerfs on invis) and being told it shouldnt matter is insulting.

Just because some of us dident attend the actual event, does not mean we are unaffected by the outcome and rules amendments of it. Heck the local nid player wont play unless he has a min 4 or 5 big flyers on the board now, and at least 2 of those are always, always flyrants. Is it a tournaments fault netlisting exists? No. But dont think it only affects those involved.

P.S. I am aware flyrant spam existed long before this tournament, but he wasen't. Also I dont think decurion was a huge thing at that one being the book was out what a week? But its just getting stupid here.
