Can we get back to the topic? There’s another thread to discuss the Banshees and Jain Zar separate release.

Oh and congrats everyone, oh what a glorious day ! To be able to buy models outside a terrible box set. Truly to live in such a time of bounty.

That's a bit snarky to GW, but seriously though, congrats eldars, enjoy.

Fingers crossed for the later 2.0 update being one with larger model releases for everyone.

It would be really nice if they just released a handful of units for different armies every other month until they clear down the replacement list. A month with a biovores, flayed, and fire dragons for example, would please a lot of people and doesn't need a rules release.

They're a release, linked to PA, coming out after PA5 - according to the topic, they're on-topic.

Chaos marines players: "Since when are Daemonengines 30k models and why do i have NO droppods now?"
GW" MONEY.... erm i meant TOO MANY OPTIONS (to resell your army to you again by disalowing former units)! Do you want specific tyranid fighiting Primaris? Even a new sabotage lieutnant!"

Thats what I was hoping for when PA book 1 gave us the Banshees and Incubi, but it didn't keep going.

Sounds like we will get a Primaris Ragner after all if I interpret the prophecy correctly.

I can't think of a character more deserving of a retread than Ragnar Blackmane. The current model was already released when the 2nd edition box set game out back in 1992.

The supply does not get to make the demands.

I hope they do his new model justice, at least by going Primaris they're not following any leads from FW with regards to their HH SW line *shudders*.

This adds a small amount of creadance to the claims that this release isn't a model but a box aka the Rise of the Pheonix release.

Ragnar in a box I can see after Jain Zar and Drazhar, but I am pretty sure Ghaz will be a separate centerpiece model like Abbadon. And probably more expensive and bigger.

I mean if they can charge us $240 USD for 20 models and two character kits -tops- I'm pretty sure they might do just that.

I hear the fight ends with Ghaz picking up Ragnar by the scruff of his neck and feeding him to the squigs. They say his squeals were louder than a thousand grots at feeding hour.

We both know this thread is to discuss 'PA5 onwards' which means PA6, PA7 and not releases of PA1.

ON TOPIC there are rumours/hints that DW will also feature in this book. There was a "how to paint Goff Grots" tutorial video the same day that the first Ork story was released and today a "how to paint a Deathwatch Killteam" video was released. Coincidence? Seems unlikely to me.

I hope Ghaz doesn't get slapped by PrimaRagnar. That would be all sorts of lame. Enjoying the hype for this book though. The latest Feast story was actually decent, the only fault I could pick was the name of the dour Wolf Priest. Alvari "Gloomwolf"? Seriously GW? Damn.

I've also spotted this comment from GW on whether Ghaz will be able to be taken in any detachment, while not confirmation, it looks promising;

I hope they deal with Ragnar they way people speculated about how Abaddon and Calgar would go down, Abby destroys Calgar who miraculously survives but has to become undergo the transformation into primaris. Obviously it didn't happen in the Vigilus Ablaze book and what we got instead was just stupid but Ghaz smacking Ragnar who proceeds to be upgraded and swearing vengeance (and is suitably powered up to make it a real fight next time around) sounds like the best possible scenario in a GW world of all stalemates and no-one ever dies.

Do we know what is coming after the Orks/Space Wolves book? More specifically, any ideas when the Necrons are getting some love?

Next is "Engine War" or "Engines of War" that features Ad Mech and IK vs Daemons and CK. Necrons are after them, presumably.

Who all is left after Engines? By my reckoning, just Deathwatch, Death Guard, Harlequins and Necrons? Some interesting matchups in there, particularly with DW, dunno if they want to do two books or just wrap the whole thing up. DG are sort of the odd duck for a four way finish.

EDIT: Also super excited for Engines, hoping Daemons get something to juice them up / make them a little less meh / boring in the grim darkness of the far future.

They're both confirmed as being in PA by official GW sources, so not really rumours.

Custodes, of course! And I didn't think Sisters would jump in there too but makes sense. So spitballing:

Death Watch vs Harlies vs Necrons?
Custodes + Sisters vs Death Guard?

Seems to track ...

Ah. Didn't know Sisters were confirmed. So probably two more books after Engine War then.

Custodes & Sisters of Silence (hopefully paired back up again), Inquisition, and hopefully we'll see Renegade Guard at some point (they even have the molds for them already!).
