Doesn't fit with 'modern' Adeptus Mechanicus, especially with those cogs. Fabius Bile has the same design though. So either Chaos or Heresy (or both).

We’ve had a previous Heresy teaser for some kind of new Mechanicum unit.

Not saying this is for that, but where there’s one, there could be more.

Doesn’t look ‘urty enough for modern Chaos.

Well, they don't have a plastic kit (officially at least - you can take every other Tech-priest model from 40k) for the only Mechanicum troop choice...

Ooooh! That’s a damned good call. I know other forces are worse off, but Empire really do need updated Knights. They’re tiny compared to Outriders.

I'm reading a 40k Chaos character. I'll go big and say a returned Lorgar standing atop an Ultra termi or veteran.

Again? He was dead when he appeared in the 2nd edition codex but then returned later in the WD SoB codex and was quite alive.

Now that is a good question. I definitely remember the Empire kits having those medallions, I'm sure positive the Empire Knight kits had them on the sprues although I can't remember off the top of my head as the last time I held one was 2006!

Based on the look of the vambrace, I personally think it looks more fantasy than 40k. The other side of the armour has a flange to it which space marine armour doesn't have.

But not a clue in honesty, I've seen some people suggesting it's a Red Corsairs thing which sounds plausible.

Not really. They didn't mentioned his death when he returned in 5th edition, in no word. At the same time they explained how Al'Rahem fits in the current timeline and with Nork Deddog we have another 'dead' character even today.
