Doesn't fit with 'modern' Adeptus Mechanicus, especially with those cogs. Fabius Bile has the same design though. So either Chaos or Heresy (or both).

Did Fabius Bile need a new model?

We’ve had a previous Heresy teaser for some kind of new Mechanicum unit.

Not saying this is for that, but where there’s one, there could be more.

Doesn’t look ‘urty enough for modern Chaos.

Looks quite light for it being something space mariney. Always keen to see more Mechanicum minis.

Well, they don't have a plastic kit (officially at least - you can take every other Tech-priest model from 40k) for the only Mechanicum troop choice...

Anybody got their 2nd edition stuff at the ready? It reminds me of an iirc 2nd edition black/white artwork of a techmarine, should be in either the Dark Millenium stuff somewhere or in Codex: Ultramarines - alternatively i think it was also reprinted in the WD where they revealed the Eldar Falcon, in the batrep.

Given that the medical arm thing is almost exactly the same as Bile's chirurgeon pack, most likely a Red Corsairs chief apothecary.

This looks a lot like the ones for the servitors in the recent Kill Team kit.

Yes, looking through the first post, the two July ones, 17th and 25th? Aae the marauders. Skull flail and horseman gubbinz.

Chaos Warrior, holding an Empire Knight’s medallion?

Possibly an event/anniversary model is my guess.

Aye definitely looks like one of the Knight medallions. Could be Knights of the White Wolf of course.

Could also be a terminator crux for 40k.

Ooooh! That’s a damned good call. I know other forces are worse off, but Empire really do need updated Knights. They’re tiny compared to Outriders.

I'm reading a 40k Chaos character. I'll go big and say a returned Lorgar standing atop an Ultra termi or veteran.

Since I'm always wrong... I'll say:

Chaos model that looks great and has no/horrible rules.

Looks like a Rosarius. So... uhm... a new Uriah Jacobus (or another beardy priest)?

Jacobus is dead, so he's definitely out!

Again? He was dead when he appeared in the 2nd edition codex but then returned later in the WD SoB codex and was quite alive.

Is that something that's actually appeared on any WHF miniatures directly in this way, though? I've seen many saying this is more like what appears on Primaris Marines

Now that is a good question. I definitely remember the Empire kits having those medallions, I'm sure positive the Empire Knight kits had them on the sprues although I can't remember off the top of my head as the last time I held one was 2006!

Based on the look of the vambrace, I personally think it looks more fantasy than 40k. The other side of the armour has a flange to it which space marine armour doesn't have.

But not a clue in honesty, I've seen some people suggesting it's a Red Corsairs thing which sounds plausible.

He was as alive then as he was in 2nd edition, because back then GW didn't insist on a Current Timeline Only policy. Nowadays, no way he's coming back.

Not really. They didn't mentioned his death when he returned in 5th edition, in no word. At the same time they explained how Al'Rahem fits in the current timeline and with Nork Deddog we have another 'dead' character even today.
