So Shield of baal - Leviathan has some neat formations and new tyranid detachment variant with some nice rule:
"units from this detachment re-roll Instinctive behaviour roll"

I have 2 questions:
1) What Instinctive behaviour roll is - the Ld test or roll on ID table you make after you fail said Ld test??
2) Do formations taken as part of the same army as Hive fleet detachment benefit from it's rule? htey are from the same book and supposedly from the save hive fleet, but I don't know if RAW they get the bonus rule?

1). No idea, not a Nid player
2). Does a Formation benefit from another Detachments Command Bonus? No, that only applies to units in that Detachment.

The Instinctive Behavior roll is the roll on the table. The LD test is a LD test.
