If you want hardback hurry up, if you want softback contact your retailers, they may have pre-orders.

Trade rules: lower rep trades ships 1st. - I ship within 2 business days, if it will be longer I will contact you & explain. - I will NOT lie on customs forms, it's a felony, do not ask me to mark sales as "gifts". Free shipping applies to contiguous US states.

Well GW kept all the hardback for themselves. I talked to a local retailer & he said they were allowed softback only. I guess after the heat from khaine GW didn't want another 30 second sell out.

The hardbacks still available over here. I dunno whether to pull the trigger with the fantasy rumours but it's very tempting.

I know the rumours are dire but I see it this way:

If it's that HUGE of a thing that everyone hates it, I'll just keep playing 8th with my friends. GW can't FORCE me to stop using 8th.

Yeah I do get that but I don't have friends that play, or a regular group or anything. I have trouble finding games especially where I don't drive so can't really travel far, so I'm not really in a position currently to be overly picky and stick to an old edition like that.

However, it's not the idea of the game I'm worried about, it's more the idea that models might be invalidated. I know its not likely but it's GW... It is almost believable...

Eh even "invalidated" models can still be played, just ask your opponent.

Just wish there was more transparancy from GW and we knew what was actually going on.

Jeeeezus!

Did you see the price tag on that thing?! And the Vermin Lord?

Holy hell, I think my Warhammer hard on just went soft...

Price tag on what..? They're nothing new in the End Times series. The book is the same as the last three, the Vermin Lord is between the Mortarchs and Nagash in both size and price.

I ordered the hardback in the end. Feels bizarre being able to buy the hardback 6 hours after it went on sale...

Have an exalt, and a QFT.

My playgroup is in wait and see mode. IF we hate 9th (i.e - armies squatted, hex bases, models invalidated, etc etc), we'll continue to play 8th. I know that doesn't work for everyone, and my condolences, truly, but it works for my playgroup.

Ah it's just crazy. Can you still get the old, cheap (haha) vermin lord? I though they took him down. So what now we're stuck with the decorative statue? Not like anyone used the Vermin Lord before anyways.

I just don't want it to turn into this thing where all the models are 4 feet tall and cost as much as a house.

And what about the old Thanquol? Can you still get normal Thanquol are are we now stuck with only ET Than? I realize that we can just continue to use our old models but what if you didn't get a normal Thanquol prior to his being redone? Now if you want the named Grey Seer he cost about 3 times as much as he used to...

I have never ordered something to my local store before. My Thanquol order still says pending. Is this normal as in should it arrive Saturday or does pending mean it hasn't been processed yet?
