Lots of people make up army lists and codexes for themselves. We went a bit too far and actually had them printed...

Yeah, our little group is quite proud of these

The old WotC range - when they were released I went a bit, umm, mad about the numbers I grabbed, principally because I had this kind of game in mind. Only just got round to doing it...

Yeah, I have an insane amount of those models as well. Do you plan on ever releasing a pdf?

Epic job by the way!

As a general download, no. Give me a bell at msprange@mongoosepublishing.com though and I'll sort something out. Make sure your inbox can take a few meg though

AMAZING. This just looks beautiful. You know, what you should do is submit this to GW or Disney and see if they'll let you publish it and have GW do the minis.

I find these conceptually amusing. How did you handle lightsabers?

S User, AP 1, Fleshbane, Gets Hots, Melee, Smash. However, Force Users ignore the Gets Hot and also benefit from a 4+ or 3+ Invulnerable save, depending on their level.

Holy moley, those are excellently done...

I've been working on Mass Effect ones for a while myself.

Is there any hope of getting a PDF of (at least) the rules portions of these? They look glorious, and oh-so-much fun to play. Good on you guys for making it. Truly a god-like endeavor.

What miniatures are you using?

As an aside, we were once 'this' close to doing a licensed Mass Effect minis game

Well, so far I've only looked into the Alliance stuff in terms of minis. Mantic's Corporation stuff from Warpath is decently close, with a bit of modification on the weapons etc. The sarge from the Marine kit can go for a Vanguard or a Sentinel with a bit of greenstuff.

Apart from that, it's mostly playing with stats and units, I've done some of that for the Alliance, the Turians, the Krogan, the geth and the Reapers. All very casual though.

That is very cool. It's a shame you'd probably never be able to work out that licensing deal.

This is so epic I'd so buy both if they were available. I enjoyed the Starwars minis game but never thought of making 40k rules for them. This is brilliant. Now I wish I'd never sold my massive minis collection all those years ago.
