I have been playing necrons for about 6 months now and one of my first purchases was a necron battleforce, it was a really good buy and with a few other purchases gave me a good starting army (I normally only play 750-1000 point games, max is 1500).
My problem is that I have recently been given another necron battleforce and was wondering what I can do with it? I don't need any of the models but I can't return it as it wasn't bought off of games workshop. What can I do with it? It is unopened.

I would say just build it, a new codex is coming out soon and you may then need it, you never know. Anyways if you ever want to go higher in points it is a great starter

Why wouldn't you need more Warriors? Warriors are great.

(If you're really not fond of it wait for the next book to see if you suddenly need a Doomsday Ark and if not toss it up on the Swap Shop)

If it's a current unopened box and you have a local GW store... just walk in and ask for an exchange.

Other than that I'd say hold onto it. We have no real idea what GW is going to do with the new necron dex in a couple weeks.

Just build it. The more necrons, the better the force!
