I heard from a couple people today that there was going to be a new 40K movie coming out later this year or early next year. It seemed like it was about GK.Can anyone confirm or deny this? If this is a new movie I hope they do better on this movie than what I hard about the last one.

I mean, given how bad the last movie was what are you expecting? Something that isn't an hour and a half Ultramarines commercial?

If I recall correctly, Aaron Dembski-Bowden is involved in the movie, although it is a fan production. Their Facebook and Youtube pages update once in a while.

ADB is involved in some of the writing. This was after some early work was posted as proof of concept stuff.

A full length movie is not coming out this year, but something like a 10-15min piece is. The gentleman who is doing all the work on this is an animator by trade and does this in his spare time with a "team" of people who are all doing it as a passion project. Like any type of similar project you get some people who are more dependable than others.

I actually interviewed him in episode 85 of The Independent Characters back in Sept 2013.

I think there's going to be a sudden uptick of people checking that episode out.
