Have been into 40k since the late 80s, started shortly after the 2nd edition came out while in high school. Built up a small Ork army but didn't take it with me when I went to college, so my boyz were lost to the Warp...
Started a new Ork army about 10 years ago just before the birth of my first son. Quickly decided I didn't have the time or motivation to commit to the hobby with babies so ultimately (and probably foolishly) sold off my ~1500 point army on Ebay.
Now 10 years later, my two sons (ages 8 and 10) are getting psyched about 40k. The younger one likes Crimson Fist Space Marines, and the older one is following Dad with a love for footslogging Goffs. Super stoked!
We've just got a few boxes of boys, nobs and tactical beakies and have started assembling and painting. Mom is getting in the mix too, so it will be a family affair. Should be a lot of fun!
