I've noticed that battlescribe added "daemonheart" as an armor option. I would like to use it as you basically pay 5 pts for it will not die. My only problem is that I don't know what the base size it is. I assume it is 40mm because of the 2+ save but I wanted dakka's opinion or answer. Thanks in advanced

Battlescribe isn't a rule book, it's an army building tool...How does it adding a unit change anything from before?

It's chaos artificer armour essentially. It doesnt change the base size like terminator armour.
Not that the rulebook states anywhere that buying terminator armour for a character changes their base size.

But the rule book does say you have to use the base size that comes with the model, I don't know any terminator that doesn't come with a 40mm.

Nope they are still on normal bases

No they're not. They come with 32mm bases.

It's basically just a SM captain/chapter masters artificer armour with IWND. I'm not seeing the need for the extra base size?

Makes sense that the Crimson Sabres chapter master had a fancy suit of armour before he fell and they became the Crimson Slaughter. During their time in the warp, it got corrupted and got the IWND effect.

Give it some more time and then they won't have access to nice things like 2+ armour or Divination like the rest of the chaos loonies.

On the other hand, Daemonheart armour is pretty handy for taking along with invulnerable save granting wargear, thus letting you make something statistically identical to the mounted terminators you're not allowed to take and model them appropriately.

Nurgle Terminator Bike Lord? Tzeentch Terminator Lord surfing into battle atop a Screamer? Plenty of modelling options there.

No they're not. They come with 32mm bases.

Mine definitely came with standard bases I'm looking at them now, how very odd. Must have been a mistake just checked the website and they definitely come with 32mm bases.
