Agree with Namiel ; won't change anything but took survey anyway.

Q:What would you like to see Games Workshop change about itself in 2015"

A: Cease destroying WHFB.

If Games Workshop lowered their prices by 25%, they would need to sell 50% more product to reach the same net Gross Margin, but the profit would be brought down by the increased overhead from having to do 50% more work.

So do you think a company will do 50% more work to make the same amount of money? Probably not lol.

The reason why the gross margin is so low to begin with is because of the fact lots of people have stopped playing due to the price increases.

Theres also a large trade network in a lot of areas, plus amazon, ebay, craigslist. Things that weren't around when GW first started making models. They haven't adjusted their pricing to stay competitive with its own second hand market. I try to purchase as many new products as I can afford, but lets face it. It's much cheaper to post a want ad on a facebook group and wait for a response

Both those are right....and that is exactly why games workshop is screwing themselves over. They have the dumbest way of looking at their business and it just makes no sense.

Imagine gw had a sale of 20% off everything on their web store for 1 week? They would probably make more money in that 1 week than a whole month at normal prices because it would give customers incentive to buy the insanly expensive miniatures

But any who lol

And then they would piss off all of the FLGS because they are selling their products below msrp. GW cannot sell their product below that price because they don't want to create a price war with the brick and mortar stores they do sell to.

Yeah, because GW cares soooo much about the B&M stores that aren't their own.
