Having been pleasantly surprised by the back-to-basics of the new Riddick movie-- thank you, AIV! -- and having been at least moderately fond of Chronicles, I'm sort of debating Riddick in the 40K universe. Given Vin Diesel's mega-gamerness, I'm certain the design aesthetic was at least an influence in Chronicles, Dark Athena, etc. So I suppose the question is-- update Marbo's stats to 7e, or steal someone's Chapter Tactics to make him a last recipient of a given geneseed? Or make a whole new IC in the vein of deathworlders-- as I understand it from Riddick movie penumbra, Furya was a high-gravity deathworld, so it would work well as a recruiting world or as a Catachan-style inspiration.

The melee Assassins would work well.

Oh, heh, yes. The Eversor. Though they're less likely to have the family connection-- though I suppose they could have a temple world.
