So I got my first 2 armies, greenskins vs oomies, and I was wondering if the battle between them will be balanced.

With orks there is
1 war boss
5 nobz
3 killa kans
A squad of choppa boys
A squad of shoota boys
A Runtherda with gretchin

With humans I got
2 captains, 1 space marine, 1 cadian
15 Cadians with various weapons
10 space marines
5 terminators

I bought stormclaw and then added some more guys to them obviously, I split up the models so they make equal squads on each side.
I can get more into what each model and unit has, but maybe you guys know more about this already.

I was thinking about buying some stormboyz and maybe more Cadians, but I don't know.

Thanks for feedback and if you wanna play, message me!

"Humans" aren't an army, your Space Marines and your Imperial Guard use different Codexes. Your Imperial Guard commander has to come in a squad of five guys, too.

I'd suggest buying the Codexes and reading the rules over again before looking into any more models.

That being said, the IG and Space wolves can ally very easily (they're battle brothers), so if you did eventually want to field SW with IG backup, that's totally doable.

"Humans" AKA IoM are an army now, who doesn't abuse the ally shenanigans that IoM had access to?

Hey, cut it - we can always discuss the problems with the Ally Matrix in another thread. This guy shows that someone are using the Matrix for narrative purposes, seeing as he regard them as the "human" faction, and aren't using it to abuse the system.

Don't worry, I agree with you, but it's hardly the point of this thread to discuss the inherent problems with the Matrix

Well, for what you have right now, not really. It's nice that you combine the two forces of Space Wolves and Astra Militarum, but problem is that the Orks have too much Heavy Infantry (The Nobs) and Vehicles (Killa Kans) to really be fightable right now - I'd advise you to get something really hitty in melee that can deal AP 2 and/or S 8 to 10 damage, or, and this is maybe the most advisable, something longranged and damaging, like Veteran Squads with Meltas or Plasma Weapons, or Long Fangs with Lascannons, as an example.

Overall, you need a lot more Guardsmen, though. I assume your squads of Ork Boys are 10 models, and with that few Guardsmen, they won't do anything but die, because of their standard armament... Maybe get yourself a Platoon Squad for them, so they can have themselves some orders.

Also, without looking at points, the Ork side is way more expensive than the Imperium side - Remember to always fight at the same aproximate level

Balance would depend on their points values from their respective books, though the balance of what you have would depend on how many ork boyz you're talking about (10 man versus 30 man squads makes a huge difference).

I'd play them as is against each other, and see what happens. It might make for a great "last stand" type of scenario, or it might be close, and balance may just take removing a couple of models from the stronger side...

The Nobz are hiding behind the Killakans.

Also I know the walls aren't following the rules but whatever, I'm already breaking the rules by pairing humans with humans anyways...
