Never heard of them. White is a bitch to paint, be careful.

Id suggest undercoat in white, as the purple will show up bright and you wont have problems with the shoulders.

Or if you prefer undercoating in black for the muted darker purple look, dont glue on the shoulderpads and undercoat those white seperately. Easy to superglue them on at the end.

Course this isnt helping you with your actual question... but i know very little about the crimson fists chapter that they are based on...


Edit: and yeh their shoulders are cream. Still easier to paint cream on white though.
