Plummeting Black Templar Thunderhawk Pilot

I have a tourney coming up next month that is allowing FW units to be brought. I know 2 of the major players in my area play Nids and have different Large Bugs. I know atleast the heiradule (sp?). But would be to suprised if a Bio-Titan shows up.
As space Marines what is the best way to deal with them?
I am thinking a unit of Grav Cents should be able to deal with whatever shoes up.

Bring in some Grey Knight allies (or rather, the Nemesis Strike Force detachment) and run the centurionstar with Draigo, GK level 3 librarian and Tigurius/Loth/Space Marine librarian.

I would love to include some GK but unfortunately I don't have any access to them. I have IG, SM, Tau, and some Inquisition

Also get ready for a bio-titan coming from a tyrannoctye.
Also can almost guarantee the shooting version of a heriodule.

Well with tau, you can do a Farsight Bomb designed to nuke a gargantuan creature. Take Farsight, 6 bodyguards with double fusion blasters and target locks, a buff-guard (bodyguard with VR Thrusters, C&C Node and MSSS). Add in a commander with fusion blasters and PEN chip, and when they arrive you'll have 14 s8 ap1, twin linked, ignores cover, monster hunter shots to obliterate their big beasty. Take some broadsides with missiles as well, they can do work vs just about anybody. If you're not facing a list where a single super heavy needs to die in one turn, the target locks will allow you to shoot at multiple targets with your fusion blasters. Take gun drones in the unit if you need extra models and some anti-infantry firepower. after that add a couple sky rays to your list and then your favorite troop models like sniper kroot, and you're set.

Not possible. Tyrannocytes can only carry unit type (infantry) or unit type (monstrous creature), not gargantuans (sadly!)
As marines, your best weapons by far are grav weapons.
Failing that, thunder hammer/storm shield terminators don't do badly, as long as he doesn't get lucky with stomp attacks.
The best weapon is Destroyer fire - which sadly you have limited access to. Bio-titans - both Hierodule and Hierophant - are 'bullies'; good at tanking fire from things littler than them, but easy enough to kill once the incoming firepower reaches a certain level.
With a Hierodule it's Krak Missiles (so marines can cope if armed appropriately). It's hard to kill but ultimately it's no harder to kill than a wraithknight with a shield, it's just a bit shootier - and twice the points cost.
The Hierophant is another animal entirely. Grav weapons and destroyer weapons are pretty much your only option here. Lighter weapons won't cut it. It takes something like four hundred krak missiles to bring one down. By comparison, six centurions should kill one in a single volley of graviton fire.

^Truth
Grav Centurions should be an add in for any list that's looking to topple MC's and GC's.

The only thing about the tyrannocyte is they actually allowed that in a GT in Germany they allowed that because it states in BRB that Gargantuans are MCs with more rules/exceptions so allowed it.
I do not agree with it, but might come across it.

Yeah, I'm planning on 5 Centurians with Grav/ML in a unit with Tiggy and probably Coteaz. Should be able to get Prescience and other useful buffs from them. Automatically Appended Next Post: Either ganna go with that or the Farsight Bomb

Try and give them invisibility, going to save you a lot of heart ache, an grav will absolutely destroy anything with an armor save. Especially superheavies.

Your best bet would be to take Grav-Centurions with an attached Librarian for GoI and Invisibility, I'd recommend Tigurius or Severin Loth for this. However, this runs into the issue of casting the powers, as any adept 'Nid player will keep Shadow-casting monsters close to his big bugs to prevent such a tactic.
If you prefer a more cheaper option, I agree with the previous guy about Krak Missiles. S8 and Ap3 should deal a couple of wounds to any Big Bug, unless he's running a Hierophant.
