Hey guys,

As the title suggests, Mek Gunz on 60mm bases, does this seem reasonable? so they would be akin to IG heavy weapons teams?

My lovely GF got me a Mek Gunz kit for Xmas, which I have devoured into bits to add to my parts collection. Its not typically a kit i'd buy (too expensive for the single model, with not many additional parts that i'd consider worth the premium on). However, I am working on some conversions using parts from it and other kits. In terms of my conversions they will also be acting as KillaKan legs, so in effect I will have;
A set of legs with a magnet at the top, A Mek gun mount or a Killa Kan mount. This basically just saves me some time and allows me to also transport them all easier. (only downside being I cant run mek gunz and kanz - for now)

Well, Mek Gunz don't typically have bases, so if anyone complains, just ignore the base for that battle and measure to and from the actual model itself.

I can't imagine most people complaining. I usually put things like Thunderfire Cannons, etc. on bases and noone ever complains.

This was my thoughts, I know they aren't based, but im not doing wheel based Mek gunz and without wheels (specifically with the method i'll be using) it will make them a pain in the ass to be baseless. Good thinking on simply being able to ignore the base if it is a concern. My conversions will stick to the height of it regardless and I can measure from the gun if needed.
