Hello DakkaDakkas!

I am an oldskool GW player from back in the day (Fantasy Battle, 40K, Blood Bowl, Space Hulk) and had a great time between 1985 - 1993.

Then I did some pausing, but collected all kinds of 1/6 action toys (around 150+ figures from Dragon, Hot Toys, Alfrex, Pazo Art, Jason Siu, etc.) around 1999-2002.

After that I ranked up Laugh to 1:1 in scale: collecting Militaria and playing Airsoft till now.

Since 2014 I am completely fed up with my daily work at the computer and spending lots of free time in front of TV screens watching movies or playing games! I thought about the good old times and got back into figure painting. Doing something like this and being creative with my hands is a good feeling and no comparison like doing something with Photoshop.

I will also start a blog that deals mainly with my interest in (WW2) North Africa miniatures/scenery and game systems in the future.
Perhaps you`ll come by or read something about here in the forum. Let`s have a good time!

Hi there!

I first started back in the day with Space Hulk in 1989 (possibly '90) when I was a young chap.
Just thinking about getting back into painting again, as I too spend all day staring at screens and thinking a good change would be move in the right direction.

Look forward to reading your blog when you get it up and running!
