I'm not totally serious about this, but from a RAW perspective, what do you think?
Bikers can fire one weapon per rider on the bike (hypothetically a bike with 10 riders and 10 guns could fire 10 times).
Ork Nobs on bikes have pistols and dakkaguns, and have the option of taking an ammo runt. Would the ammo runt count as a second rider, thus allowing one more weapon to be fired?

"Runts and squigs are upgrades that may be taken by certain models in an Ork army."
You'd need to show how the upgrade becomes an additional rider for this to work, and I don't believe you can.

Actually being totally serious about this and desperate for a favourable answer?
Or just wanting third or more opinions.

Because he knows that (most of) the people on Dakka are CLEARLY more intelligent, wise, and respectful than those gutter-rats on other websites.

An Ammo Runt is not a "model" (it has no profile), it's wargear. So, no, one weapon per bike.

What counts as a rider? I don't think that GW has a rule term for that?
|
It's easy to assume that people arguing an interpretation you disagree with are just looking for an advantage for themselves... But it's quite often not the case. |

Does the ammo runt option have a stat line? If not then it cant fire at anything.

Space Marine Attack Bikes do not have an additional separate profile for the heavy weapon firer.
Of course, Attack Bikes directly refer back to the section of The Rules on Bikes, which of course gives the specific example of Attack Bikes.
Given there is no defined term for rider beyond mention of the passenger firing from an Attack Bike, it seems it needs to be specifically noted to allow an additional weapon to be fired.

the ork codex says it quite nicely
"runts and squig models are purely decorative and are always ignored for game purposes."
