Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

If your opponents ok with it, you can do anything.

If my opponent was OK with it, I would create a mini volcano complete with heating elements and every time I took out one of his models Ill walk them up the side and drop them into melt town.

Point is using old models, or old rule or old editions is that some people do pre agreed. It's a little frowned upon in friendly turn ups though. I wouldn't like it, the current models are priced and ''balanced'' without that model in mind, personally I think things like this make a huge impact on the game.

It's my codex and I'll cry If I want to.

Tactical objectives are fantastic

Just ask if it ok to use and let your opponent use non-codex units as well.

I use a Deimos Predator in my army but as long as I have all the rules for it, my opponents were happy for me to have it.

If they say no, make sure that all of their units are in their codex - what is good for the goose is good for the gander.

Yes, yes I do. I'll PM the master list. Note that this does not include Forgeworld units (there is an article for that).
