The Necron Living Tomb formation has the following in it's special rules.

Spoiler:
...Do not make reserve rolls for the Obelisk, it automatically arrives on your turn 2. Monoliths do not scatter when deep striking if placed within 12" of the Obelisk.

Immediately after a Monolith arrives from this formation, choose one friendly Necron unit that is entirely infantry or jump infantry that is in reserve. Place it as though disembarking from the Monolith's eternity gate.

So this raises a couple questions for me.

First: if I roll for a Monolith in this formation to arrive on turn 2, and the roll is successful, can I perform the Deep Strike on the Obelisk first, then Deep Strike the Monolith within 12" of it and gain the benefits of this special rule?

Second: If I roll for the arrival of a Warriors unit from reserve and it succeeds in arriving on turn 2, can I first Deep Strike the Monolith then pull the Warrior unit thru the eternity gate before deploying the Warrior unit from reserve?

At the start of the turn, you roll for all your units to arrive from Reserves. After all the rolls are completed, you pick the order that they arrive in, completely deploying the first unit before moving onto the second (p135, Arriving from Reserve).

So yes to both questions.

Yup, though you do not roll for the Warriors.

Well, I have to roll for the warrior if they're in reserves correct? Whether they succeed or fail the roll won't matter if the Monolith comes in. I'm just confirming if that's how it all works. Thanks!

Not needed, you pick them from Reserve and let them walk out of the Monolith.
It always worked like that, but any non-Vehicle was allowed to do it before (That was lovely with C'tans).

Maybe I'm missing something. What if the Monolith fails it's reserve roll and does not come in turn 2. The warriors, being in reserves, must still roll for reserves, correct? So it's possible that the warriors will arrive before the Monolith? Or is there something that allows me to keep the Warriors in reserve?
