Hi all,

I'm looking for some experienced blood angel players that would be able to point me in the first direction. A group of friends and I are running a "tale of 8 gamers" type of monthly themes, this month is "anything Troops". As long as the class is infantry we can take them as well as characters, no monstrous creatures or tanks or walkers etc etc.

My partner is using blood angels, what would be the most effective combination for her to dish out some pain? We have 250pts to play with.

What are you playing? It isn't very clear please rephrase it then I will respond.

Now I know next to nothing about Blood Angels but I threw together 2 lists, one bound and one unbound. Tell me what you think.

Lots of delicious Assault squads with melta. Or maybe a single squad of Vanguard veterans with a chaplain jump pack.

I like playing small games like this with my crimson fists so I come up with lists like this quite often. With Infantry though, there's a simple expression which speaks for a lot in small games like these.

More men on the ground mean there's more wounds to chew though. And to complement the assaulty nature of the blood angles, mabye you might like lots of CCW scouts. The occasional bolter squad with HB mabye.

we are playing a 10 player game, each of us take a card of a deck of cards. Turn order is decided by the order of the cards, aces being highest, there is a joker card....means you can interrupt between player turns and decide when you want to take yours.

This month is called "something troopie" we can take anything that has Infantry and/or character as its type. So no walkers, tanks, monsterous creatures etc etc....I am up against the following armies, not in any particular order.

Sisters
Black Templar
Eldar
Space wolves
Necrons
Grey Knights
Tyranids
Harlequins

I have 2 weeks to get anything I will be taking built and painted as best as I can. Here is what I originally thought of taking...

Librarian in termie armor, fury of Baal, Valors edge, digital weapons and auspex.

5 scouts with sniper rifles.

Thinking of taking the malefic powers and hoping to summon myself some bloodletters or a herald

10 death company with jump packs, bolters and a powerfist

Definitely some death company!

Spam CCW/bp scouts!
