I know what you mean. I checked this story in a few different places to make sure it wasn't a joke.

I can't fathom having my wrestlers compete in 4 duals in one week. That's a heavy workload.

See, wrestling, Football (rugby and American) and the like, I understand... there's a very real mental and physical toll on the body. But basketball?? It's seriously just running/jogging with an occasional jump here and there. I remember the friends I had on the basketball team went out to an annual tournament, where they played 5 games over the course of 3 days (2 games, 2 games, 1 game), followed by their first league match 3 days after the tournament was done. NONE of them had any real issues. (anecdotal evidence, I know) I want to say that in Oregon, at least when I was in school the league season was around 20 games, plus there were some semi mandatory tournaments that schools were expected to attend (which, IIRC worked similar to UK soccer... theres a "top" tournament which if you place last in, you get relegated to the next tourney down, etc) and if your team was good enough, and had playoffs... you could expect to play around 40 games in total.

In the wrestling tournaments I was in, there would be multiple matches in a day.
