Hey guys!

I want to buy some new models for my SW army but i am not sure if i am buying the right things.

Heres waht i have right now

1 wolf lord
1 lord on twc
Ulrik
Wolf priest
Iron priest
1 grey hunter with banner
40 grey hunter / bloodclaw
10 jump pack grey hunter
3 twc
5 ferisan wolves
2 bionic wolves
2 dreadnought
3 drop pod
2 rhino
1 land rider

I was planning on buying 3 twc and 2 more drop pod. Shoul i buy something else? like a long fang squad or some whirlwind?

TWC would not be a bad investment. You could also pick up a pair of stormwolf fliers to move larger chunks of the army. It gives you some AA and some other good high strength shooting.

I was going to say Thunderwolves and Drop Pods, but the Stormwolves are a great option as well.

TWC or Stormwolves would be a great thing to add.

I'm of the camp that LasPredators are better than LF but that's just me. Both have their merits and can't hurt to try out. Best way is to try and proxy some in a game and see what you think of them. If you like them, then go for it. If not, you haven't spent any money on models or anything.

Long Fangs are going to end up with a less-geared Ancient anyway, so sticking them behind an Aegis Line w/Quad-Gun gives him a role, and provides some nice anti-air if you're doing a TAC list anyway. Just food for thought, but I do like fielding Long Fangs that way.

TWC are probably one of the best units, if not the best unit, in the game for CC. Would be a very good buy.

Agreed. With the fact that the CoF Detachment essentially supercedes the generic CAD in almost every way, TWC go from good, to stupid. :-p 5WS guys that universally have Rending and a boat-load of attacks will put down essentially any other "normal" infantry unit, including elite infantry.

If you choose their targets wisely, you can frequently go whole games sling-shotting them from one combat to the next, wiping out whole swathes of lesser units.
