Hey guys, my buddy and I are making 50 point armies, one for legion and one for circle, and I was hoping to get some help/feedback. Don't really have any plans to play in tournaments or anything, it's really just for fun. Right now, we've got the 2 player box, a unit of nyss striders, and shifting stones + stone keeper, with Una on the way. I'm not set on using Kromac, he just seemed like a decent choice.

Can't tell you much about Bethayne but the Kromac list looks pretty standard.

Kromac is one of Circle's 'Big Three' that are regarded as the 'best' by people who buy into some warcasters/warlocks being better than others; he's a powerful and hard-to-avoid assassination tool that doesn't interact much with his army, so units like Ghetorix, the Stalker, and the Skinwalkers that wreck face with little or no support from the warlock are very good choices with him. He's a pretty point-and-click weapon, he should be easy to figure out.

If you're just getting started I'd suggest building up slowly before jumping into 50pt games; add individual things to the two-player box, swap stuff out, don't hop straight into the deep end. (At least you're not trying to play Mohsar this early on, that would be a nightmare).

Striders should have the UA if its the Rangers.

Warspears should always run the UA. They are amazingly better with it.

I would consider dropping Bayal for either of those other two UAs.

I know I shouldn't just jump right into a 50 point game with my current experience, we've played a few games with what we have currently, and I was thinking probably do some at 35, and eventually work up to 50 (or 60, if that's a thing)

50 is where the majority of players find the game is the most balanced. If you are a newer player I'd recommend scaling back and playing smaller games like 15-25 moving up to 35 and then 50 last.
