I may be participating in a Kill Team tournament at the end of March, and I wanted to mix things up a little by building a small new Inquisition force. I am basing it around one of my characters from the Inquisitor game, a bombastic Monodominant named Belsavis, but setting this force in his earlier years as an Interrogator under the direction of another Inquisitor. He'll be accompanied by a small squad of Inquisitorial Stormtroopers and a few more exotic characters forming the small retinue seconded to him by his master. I am looking for opinions and advice, and I am not dead-set on any of the choices below except for Belsavis himself, as the Ministorum Priest fits him pretty much perfectly at this stage of his life. I do, however, have pretty much all the models to make the group below, so I wouldn't need to buy much if anything if it remains largely unchanged, so any changes to make them more competitive will be weighed against whether I can afford any of the suggested ideas.

Here's what I was thinking right now:

Kill Team Leader:
Interrogator Belsavis (Ministorum Priest)
- Bolt Pistol, Power Maul, Frag & Krak Grenades, Flak Armour, Rosarius
- War Hymns
41 points

1 Inquisitorial Stormtrooper (Acolyte)
- Laspistol, Plasma Gun, Carapace Armour
18 points

1 Inquisitorial Stormtrooper (Acolyte)
- Laspistol, Hot-Shot Lasgun, Carapace Armour
13 points

1 Inquisitorial Stormtrooper (Acolyte)
- Laspistol, Boltgun, Carapace Armour
9 points

1 Inquisitorial Stormtrooper (Acolyte)
- Laspistol, Boltgun, Carapace Armour
9 points

1 Inquisitorial Stormtrooper (Acolyte)
- Laspistol, Boltgun, Carapace Armour
9 points

2 Crusaders
30 points

1 Death Cult Assassin
- 2 Power Swords, Flak Armour
- Uncanny Reflexes (5+ Inv)
15 points

1 Arco-Flagellant
- Arco-Flails
- Feel No Pain (5+)
15 points

Razorback
- Twin-Linked Heavy Bolters, Smoke Launchers
40 points

Specialists:

Plasma Stormtrooper - Weapon Specialist: Ignores Cover
Death Cult Assassin - Combat Specialist: Furious Charge
Arco-Flagellant - Dirty Fighter: Rending

I am figuring all the rapid-fire weapons, the Heavy Bolter and the decent Assault options give me plenty of anti-infantry, while anti-armour is covered (lightly) by Belsavis (with Smash), the Plasma Gunner and the Arco-Flagellant (with Rending). MEQ's shouldn't be too much of a problem since I do have a bit of weight-of-fire on my side, plus the Ignores Cover Plasma Gun and the Furious Charging Death Cultist. The Razorback should help me get important models to where they need to be for Objectives or countering enemy movements, and should hopefully soak up a bit of fire as well.

So that's where I am at. Pick it apart, tell me how dumb my choices are, and help me make it better.

At my desk

It just looks solid to me.

3000pts Blood Angels (4th Company) - 2000pts Skitarii (Voss Prime) - 2500pts Imperial Knights (Unnamed House) - 1000pts Imperial Guard (Household Retainers)

2000pts Free Peoples (Edlynd Fusiliers) - 2000pts Kharadron Overlords (Barak Zilfin) - 500pts Ironweld Arsenal (Edlynd Ironwork Federation) - 1000pts Duardin (Grongrok Powderheads)

Wargaming's no fun when you have a plan!

Thanks. I actually got a little advice over on Warseer and have dropped the Carapace Armour on one of the Bolter guys (rewriting him from an Inquisitorial Stormtrooper to an Imperial Guard Veteran), in order to free up some points to put Psybolt Ammo in the Razorback to make it just a little better at its job and make it possible to use it as a last-ditch anti-armour platform as well. (S6 can glance AV12, which is likely the highest armour I will be facing in Kill Team.)
