They're still in stock at my FLGS, and on the GW website it just says 'Temporarily out of stock'. The guy on Ebay is just being silly - unless they're 'master painted', like every painted 40k piece on ebay is.

The EBay one was probably metal, which technically is OOP so that's why they were charging so much probably.

The finecast incubi were notoriously bad casts when they were first coming out. The glaives, banner poles and horns were all very prone to warping horribly and the bodies themselves weren't much cop either.
Not sure if they are any better yet though?
The safest route is to buy metal but that comes at a premium due to the short time that DE spent in metal and metal being vastly superior on this sculpt.
If they're finecast then the guy is trying to cash in, which is fine by me. Lower availability=higher prices. People will happily panic buy if they feel that their models may be getting changed soon and they want their consistency or if there's a chance that the new sculpts will be worse. With GW not releasing any concept art with much advance at all the only option is to panic and buy!

Somethings up for sure
Grotesques, which got hugely better in the new dex, have been out of stock since it released.
Not sure if they're planning a splash of plastic releases, but it's a lot of lost sales for now

More likely they're charging " OOP" prices because they think they can get away with it.
Incubi keep being out of stock for lengthy amounts of time. No explanation as to why.

I haven't been able to get my hands on the new Incubi (I don't like the older models at all), so I used some Dire Avenger bodies along with some old Necron Pariah bits. They don't look half bad and were way cheaper then 90 bucks.

Incubi
And with the Archon.
In the blog there are before pics of the sort of 'bargain' one might find on ebay.
Since they've been stripped and repainted I think they look okay but what a carcrash.
Jump in and see what else I've been up to. Cheers.

When I was in Florida my local GW store owner was hinting at a release because they were out of stock online( this was during the latest dark eldar release) but when I got back home to australia I've seen them in stock online since. I'd hope they come out in plastic soon but. I would love some new models

If I ever end up selling models on ebay I will derive much enjoyment from listing them as "amateur painted".
