Ok I just need someone to please explain the epic aspect of warlocks/warcasters please. Are they more powerful or are they just different versions of the original character can someone please explain. Do you have to use the at a certain point level? I am just confused a little on their purpose.

They're just different versions of the same character, at a different point in the story. You don't need to be at a certain point level but I think if you're doing a 2/3 list format you can only use one version of them.

Yeah, they are just different varients from further down the timeline. But you can't take both the epic and regular version of the caster in the same game.

Waiting for my shill money from Spiral Arm Studios

Different versions of characters are just progressive versions within the fluff. They are not more powerful versions or better versions. They're just different.

High Exemplar Kreoss is Kreoss prior to the battle of the Thornwood.

Grand Exemplar Kreoss is Kreoss after the battle of the Thornwood when the previous Grand Exemplar died and then he got promoted.

Intercessor Kreoss is Kreoss after he was given the title of Intercessor by Hierarch Severius(he remains the Grand Exemplar too. Its just weather or not he's on his horse)

Only if the format uses that type of character restriction. the base level of character restriction counts epic and prime versions as different. If you're making a list with multiple casters they are still the same.

Self-proclaimed evil Cat-person. Dues Ex Felines

Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.

"More powerful" isn't usually the case and they tend to lose stuff. EKaya got a much, much better yo-yo trick out of her feat but she lost +2 to hit for all her 'beasts and the repeatable utility PKaya had, EXerxis lost all his board control tricks when he got the rhino, et cetera. The epic version of a warcaster/warlock plays differently and has different toys, he/she isn't usually better or worse.

Yeah if an epic caster is better than the usual one its just a coincidence.
