Anyone ever play it?

Never seen it used before, I thought it was just an alternate Rhino model.

It's an HQ-choice-that-doesn't-take-a-slot and a comms relay stuck to a Rhino. Cool, but not unique.

It falls into the 'I don't want to buy a Bastion with Comms Relay and could really use the Orbital Bombardment (or another one) that a Chapter Master does' catagory. Not many armies can really benefit from it. Have to have a large force of Deep Strike or Reserves and no natural trait to alter those rolls.

But I like Orbital Bombardments so... That's another plus in my book.

On the other hand, it looks really cool just as a command tank, even if you disregard its rules.

It definitely does look cool, even just as a normal rhino it would be neat.

I don't benefit from the reserves bonus (I always deathwing assault), so 40 points for orbital bombardment? I think I read somewhere it's one use, is that correct? The only other benefit is, IIRC, a rear armor of 11

If I could afford to buy stuff from FW more regularly I'd consider buying one and running it as a standard rhino though. I always run a librarian with command squad in a rhino, and that thing would definitely be a cool way to make said rhino stand out.

Using it as a Rhino for your Captain and Command Squad would be a nice aesthetic touch. Really make it stand out who's in it instead of putting some friggin model on the roof...

INdeed, as a centre piece its pretty stunning.
