Spawn of Chaos

Got a game against a Necron Player, and this will be my first game against the metal men with their new codex. From what I know, I throw this together, hoping it would give me a good chance to at least hold my ground for a few turns before being destroyed. I've also never used any of the Imperial Armory 13 stuff, and want to give it a try, see if it changed the way chaos plays at all. If you have any question feel free to ask about the weapons or armament and the like. Primary Detachment, Chaos Space Marines: Crimson Slaughter --HQ-- Chaos Sorcerer- 165 pts Power Armor, Force Staff, Daemonheart, Sigil of corruption, The Balestar of Mannon --Troops-- Chaos Cultists- 50 pts (x2) Autoguns, CCW --Elites-- Chosen- 185 pts 4x Chosen, Draznicht’s Ravagers, Mark of Nurgle, 4x Replace boltgun w/ Meltagun Champion w/Melta Bomb, Power Fist --Heavy Support-- Chaos Fire Raptor Gunship- 260pts Daemonic Possession, Hull-mounted twin-linked Avenger bolt cannon, 4x Wing mounted Hellstrike missiles, Reaper Autocannon Batteries (w/Malefic Ammunition) Chaos Infernal Relic Predator- 195pts Daemonic possession, Heavy Conversion Beamer, Lascannons, Pintle Mounted Combi-Bolter, Searchlight, Smoke Launcher Chaos Infernal Relic Achilles- 365pts Armoured Ceramite, Extra Armour, Hull Mounted Quad Mortar, Legacy of Ruin: Fourth Quadrant Rebellion, Multi-Melta, Searchlight, Smoke Launchers, 2x Sponson Mounted Twin-linked Multi-Melta Allied Detachment, Chaos Space Marines --HQ-- Daemon Prince- 355pts Prince of Nurgle, Psyker (ML 3), Power Armor, Wings, The Black Mace, Spell Familiar. --Troops-- Chaos Cultists- 55pts Autoguns, CCW, Flamer --Fast Attack-- Heldrake- 170 points Hades Autocannon/Baleflamer (not sure wich atm) Daemon Prince takes Malefic Daemonoligy (in addition to Nurgle) acting as a summoner, and the Sorcerer takes all Divination for the Chosen and Heavy Support. Cultists stay 12" of the Achilles and remain Fearless, acting as something of a meat-sheild and intervening models to protect it, Predator fires pieplates and Las-shots, and the Raptor comes in and recks stuff from above.

You'll need to put a technancer in your primary detachment to take the three relic vehicles. You can use the sorceror for this if you take one level of demonology.

Origionally the DP was going to be the Technomancer, but now I see that it has to be a Sorcerer. Because the Raptor isn't A Relic, I can just move one of the others to the Allied Detachment and make the Sorc take a roll from Daemonology, no issue there.

The raptor is a relic, but you should have no problem reshuffling.
Definitely take the baleflamer, the raptor should cover your autocannnon.
Do the chosen have a rhino?

Huh, looking things over so it is. Because of this some restructuring does need to happen; Switch the Crimson Slaughter to the Primary Detachment, move the relics and a cultist squad over, and boom taken care of. Thank you for clarifying that for me.
No Rhino, the Chosen ride in the Achillies, pop out and fire at a target. The problem with the Baleflamer is with the FAQ it makes it much harder to hit with, and I'm not sure what the troop to vechicle ratio is going to be; this opponent usually uses a lot of the later as well as fliers.

You've tooled up the sorc, but he's still only ML1 from what I can see? Seems like a bit of a waste. If he IS only level 1 and must roll on daemonology, then spending extra points on the balestar seems like a waste. He's also got a 2+/4++ but you've given him a staff instead of an axe. Unless you're playing heavily to your meta, that's certainly a point to think about.
If you think it's hard to hit something with the Baleflamer, you're going to be deathly dissapointed with the Hades.
Daemonic possession on the Raptor seems like a waste as well. You ignore stunned/shaken, but drop to BS3. I know you're twin linked, but I'm still not sure it's a great trade.
Seems like a waste to take a >350 point assault transport and not stick anything killy in it. A 3 multi meltas and a budget TFC for 365 seems like a bit of a bad deal, even if it is on an unkillable chassis.

I would drop Daemonic Possession and Malefic Ammunition on the Fire Raptor to save some points.
The Heldrake should definitely have a Baleflamer, if you want some Anti-Air the Hell Blade does the job so much better despite being a lot more fragile.
Personally I think the Relic Achilles is too expensive for too little punch, but it's a cool vehicle (both rules- and model-wis, so if you own the tank I see why you wanna use it.
With so many vehicles, you should remember to stay out of Gauss range when facing Necrons.
