Hi everyone! I had quite large break with 40k and getting back is a bit hard. I have some questions and will be really gratefull if you will answer them.
1.I looked at waaagh! Ghazghkull and on pages 14-16,22-24,30 which made me confused. At first I thought that these are formations but I found formations later in the end of a supplement. So, what are these?
2. I read through blogs and saw some people complaining about lack of invulnerable saves for orks. In some places I agree with them, orks are close combat army but they don`t have invul saves when fighting some hard ones like terminators or Necron Wraiths. However, we have more attacks and wounds usually, which really helps. What do you use to kill such guys? Because "shoot choppy and chop shooty" doesn`t work some times.
3.Does Mega force field and supa cybork worth their points?
4.Is it a great idea to put a mek on bike with KKF behind BW, so he can give invulnerable save to every wagon?

As for Biked KFF Mek - yes, this can do a trick. Put him in a squad of 3-4 Koptas for ablative wounds and this squad will buff wagons, trukks or walkers nicely.

MFF I have played against once in a gorkanaut and it was the most obnoxious thing ever.

"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"

"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"

"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"

"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!"

1. These are simply "fluff" armies that were used in some of the stories that are told in the supplement. It allows you to potentially field it as it was in the story but it doesn't get any rules or benefits.

2. If you're hitting a unit like terminators or wraiths then hit them with large numbers of boyz and keep your big boss guys out of that fight if at all possible. I wouldn't throw a boss into that fight even if he had an invulnerable save.

3. The mega force field is worth its points. The problem is you must take a mek from either the thrakka supplement detachment OR from one of the formations in the thrakka supplement . You cannot take that force field if you use CaD or the main Ork codex detachment. I personally do not think the supa cybork is worth its points. You usually take painboyz anyway so the FnP it grants is redundant and I never really get use out of the eternal warrior because I try to keep my boss out of big challenges where the EW would be useful. I honestly havent heard too much hype about supa cybork so I assume no one really likes it. Maybe in the greentide to keep him and his infinite Waaagh! going but that's the only place I could see it.

4. Yes. This is a common ork tactic. You can hide the mek from most things that can cause him death and like you said, it gives a save to every wagon.

I dont always run warbikers, they're not required to win but if I do run them I take Da Rippa as my warboss (his rules are free on the forgeworld page, just go to downloads, then dreadmob army list and he is one the last page) because he makes them troops and in CaD that give them Objective secured and I take two full units of warbikers with a pain boy and a nob in each. That gives me 30 total warbikers and that doesnt count my two warbosses (one being Rippa) or my two pain boyz on bikes. I have a third unit but I can never fit it in.

This thread is really good and I suggest to to alot of people that ask ork questions: http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/608882.page

This one has also been enlightening as it is new and gives more tactical advice on how to use boyz. They really are a powerful tool in this edition. http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/636159.page

Thanks for the answers! This threads are very helpfull. One more question. Which artifacts are better. On one hand it is Lucky stikk and fixer ubers and on other one is MFF and fearless bosspole.

Thanks for the answers! This threads are very helpfull. One more question. Which artifacts are better. On one hand it is Lucky stikk and fixer ubers and on other one is MFF and fearless bosspole.

The lukky Stikk is hands down one of the best artifacts in the game, not just the ork codex. The Finkin Kap and fixer upper are both also really good artifacts. The fearless bosspole is really good for the greentide but I dont really consider it good if I'm not using the Greentide (expensive and can't get it without the thraka detachment). The MFF is a better KFF which is REALLY good in a stompa. The problem is to get the artifacts from the Thraka book you have to take either a formation or detachment from that book. So you can't get Objective secured with a CaD if you want the Thraka artifacts. So while some of the artifacts from Thraka are really good they are hard to get access to. So to answer the question I believe the Codex: Orks artifacts are better
