Alrighty folks I am here to make a diorama of space marines against the forces of chaos as of yet nothing has been built but I was talking to some friends about wanting to make a diorama so I got some bits from a friend and what I had left lying around so I decided what the heck I haven't built one in ages why not go for it now as I no longer play the game itself I should just make of my models and bits I still have left. Also I do plan to keep this updated to the best of my abilities I do have a wife and 3 kids to take of so this is a definite side project of mine and family will come first and this is also my first post of my own and one to keep up with, well enough for now I will take some pictures of what I have so far as of now. I'm off to file and get rid of mold lines well that's the plan lol good thing I am watching the dirty harry movies for some time killing
Lol that's my problem I can't find my cord to upload my pics from the camera and idc how to work this darn tablet lol I promise ill show you what I do have so far lol

Alright so I've got some more stuff to work with and was thinking of using some skull crusher bits to make my ha/leaders out of my "warmaster" will be using the newer chaos lord from the fantasy line just love how he looks but I think the head he comes with suits my dark apostle or sorcerer better so I have two heads I'm trying to figure out will look better any opinions? My standard will use the skull crusher legs I know it sounds weird but I plan on making him standing atop a dead loyalist and just sculpting the lower portions and probably making the rest of his chain skirt/w/e it is lol in the back and try to disguise it the best i can I just love the khorne symbols on it as is and I had some not being used so why not I suppose any thoughts or opinions would greatly be appreciated I'm going to start basecoating and assembling some of my guys that I have ready updates ASAP and thank you again in advance also pictures will be uploaded as soon as my computer reboots sorry for the issues. Ok so the heads I have found are on the sprue next to the original models head want the shorter horned ones but idk which to choose I like both any opinions on what might look cooler?
Automatically Appended Next Post: Well a pretty unproductive night issues with glue and getting it to stick for some odd reason it normally works well for me but I don't want to it to melt the minis so I am using a different glue and letting it dry over night hopefully this glue is better only time will tell I suppose goodnight all.

are you going to base them and have spots in the diorama for them to go, or are you gluing them onto the diorama? And I mean like cut in squares and what not?
I'll never be able to repay CA for making GW realize that The Old World was a cash cow, left to die in a field.
The plan is to glue them directly to the base Itself I figured It'd look better with no bases I. Stuck at work late so I haven't been able to get much done I'm hoping tomorrow I'll have at least some of my guys assembled and basecoated and I've been searching for a good base material but idk if I want to use wood white styrofoam or both either way it'll be covered up as I'm going for a desert type planet look so it'll have the desert sand paste from Vallejo over it I've been leaning more towards both and just make dunes if possible just to make it look more interesting than just a plain flat desert board
