Early Access, and it already has a cash store for skins and frakking forum avatars?
Another 'Games Workshop Seal of Approval' for this video game.
I wonder what genre they'll try to clone and throw a 40k skin on next? I hear gem-based puzzle games are popular. Match three and break the warpstones for extra Chaos points! Extra tries are only 99 cents!
Dem gramphics. Interesting concept placing it in an non-Imperial setting but like infinite_array I'm skeptical on how it looks like on the website. Plus I would really prefer an expanded version of Last Stand from Relic than this IMO.

They were making a MOBA called Vanguard Strikes which seems to have magically disappeared and now they have this, reskin indeed. Doesn't seem like they've made anything else. New studio so feth knows if they have any talent.

Am I the only one who thinks "so GW defended their property for years like Nazis, and now they just shill it out left and right producing a long series of cheap mediocre arcade games?"
I thought that a while b ack when they made that tower defense game.

No, no, you guys have it wrong. They only have to defend their IP from fan forums and people who might make alternative models; if they get paid so someone can shovel out an overpriced reskin game, well, that's all good.
Also, I have to ask. If you were going to preorder it for the special $125 pack, who would you choose? The skinny blue commie goat? Or LYSANDER or GHAZ? Seems a bit ridiculous that the preorder Tau pack gives you an ethereal.

Not really; most people who play Moba's do spend that much for in game skins and interface tweaks.
Most people also know that the game is actually quality because it's free to play and actually out though.
What do we know about this other than it's just an Moba anyway? Is it just a LoL clone with 40K guys, or is it something more like Heroes of the Storm where every map has a secondary objective? Because honestly, if it's just a LoL clone they've already shot themselves in the foot.
I've never feared Death or Dying. I've only feared never Trying.

Have you even checked the website? They apparently plan to have just one category for marines of all chapters, put on the same level as every other army in the setting, including Adepta Sororitas and even Inquisition.

The concept sounds better then I would have expected, but seeing all these 40k games is just reminding me that we likely won't be getting anything beefy.
Also you know the pricing bit sounds like gack.

They just have to add DE "patrons" and allow betting on the side.
Think Spartacus and it could get fun: a side game not just the arena, extra perks and points for stylish kills...
The DE do not get young by themselves, the spectacle has to be sufficient for the crowds to feed properly.
Have announcements during the game "ULTRA KILL!!" "RAMPAGE!!"...
So many game ideas can be stolen.
Wait, are we trying for blood bowl 40k?

Aside from the horrid pricing model, I do enjoy the thought of a 40K Moba.

Yes, produced by EA and was basically a straight rip of stuff from their failed MMO, there was many problems not counting the fact it was being done over by EA...
I felt bad for those developers, they really tried their best to make it decent.

They've mentioned a drastic difference in that instead of the standard Moba point and click there's instead movement and separate attack, something akin to Dead Island Epidemic where you can move with WASD and attack with the mouse.
Game is going to end up Free to Play however, you buy into Early Access.

Thinking about this, I wouldn't mind it tbh. As long as it's free to play I'll probably pick it up.
