I've been trying to figure this out for a little while now.

Darius is a warcaster, but also seems to be considered a WarJack. (he is in a giant metal robot!)

If he is classified as a Warjack, then can his Half-jacks use their "Bodge" skill on him to repair?

Also, If a Half-jack is Base to base with Darius and his Feat "Pit Stop" goes off, can that Half-Jack Repair Darius to full?

Thanks in Advance!

Check the typeline. The only Warcaster that actually has warjack rules is Karchev, Darius is just wearing big armour. He's not a warjack any more than a Man-'O-War is.

He heals himself with focus like all his regular caster buddies. He just looks awesome while doing it.

I wish I had time for all the game systems I own, let alone want to own...

Even Kharchev, the man in the machine, is not classed as a warjack (he's also not a Warrior, which sets him apart from normal 'casters, kharchev is just a kharchev).

Darius, meanwhile, is just a guy in some cool steam armour - like the Men-O-War. He is still treated like a normal caster/warrior, and can't be "repaired" or bodged like a jack.

Thank you for all the replies.

Seems it's unanimous that he is simply classified as a "Warcaster"

I still think he should be able to be repaired on some level, given that 90% of him and his stats are from the mech. But I imagine that would throw off the balance of the game.

I don't think it would throw off the balance of the game, but it's not
currently something they intended, and therefore the wording
reflects that he is not a warjack.

It's not a 'mech' though. It's just ironhead armour. If that can be repaired, so can all other casters. Darius ain't that special.

If anything, the butcher has a better argument for being repaired, as his armour was actually built from a warjack - a berserker chassis.

Something useful to remember, is that in WM rules do exactly what they say they do and no more. There's no need for inferences.

"The 75mm gun is firing. The 37mm gun is firing, but is traversed round the wrong way. The Browning is jammed. I am saying "Driver, advance." and the driver, who can't hear me, is reversing. And as I look over the top of the turret and see twelve enemy tanks fifty yards away, someone hands me a cheese sandwich."

Although Karchev does sadly take the extra damage from mage hunters...

And a "Warrior" I believe.
