As stated above, I've got cash, a Mint iPhone 5c that has never left its otterbox and a $3400 round solitaire diamond engagement ring .9cts

Looking for primarily NIDS, carry cases, GKs are secondary and I'll even entertain some cool orks.

Pics by request and if you are interested in the ring, I can send the appraisal for it via email.

Thanks!

Umm, so what's the story behind the ring if I might ask? Since most of us don't just happen to have one kicking around for pawning... :S

Absolutely, second this question. This is possibly a more shady thing to trade for warhammer stuff

For those of you wanting the story behind the ring...

And I totally understand wanting to know...

So yea, I married young and bought a ring at Kay Jewelers and paid stupid amounts for it and decided that my second time around I wasn't going to make the same mistake.

So what did I do? I shopped Craigslist for about 6 months prior to knowing when I was going to ask my now fiance to marry me (she said yes).
So after tons of searching and investigation I came across what I thought was a great deal and went to buy the ring. I have a strict 1ct solitaire rule when it comes to engagement rings. So I meet this dude at his place and he shows me the ring and it looks great and he tells me its 1ct BUT he doesn't have any paperwork. So I ask him if we can go to a jeweler and have it appraised (never done anything like that before so I didn't know the process can take a while and a mainstream jeweler). He just tells me to take the ring and go get it done myself as he is busy moving into his new place. I figure if the dude trusts me to take his ring by myself out of his sight... he has got to be at least somewhat trustworthy.

So I get to a mainstream jeweler and their appraiser is not going to be in the store for another two weeks. The lady said she could take a look at it and give me a ROUGH appraisal. I told her what I was told it would be and she said that based on what she could see and measure without taking the diamond out that it could be 1ct.

So I go back to the guy, told him I'd take his word on it and paid the man in cash.

Well, two weeks later I go to get it appraised by a real appraiser... turns out its .9cts and has a TCW (Total Ct Weight) of 1ct. There are 4 tiny diamonds on the band. I couldn't get my money back and I couldn't take him to small claims court due to the advisement of a lawyer I know. AKA he didn't think I would win.

So I didn't end up giving her that ring and she doesn't know that it exists and I'd like to keep it that way. She loves the ring that I eventually got for her and overall I would have spent the same amount of money had I gone to a mainstream jeweler.

The ring appraises for $5k. The ring was purchased for $3400. I don't expect to get near that amount but would like to do SOMETHING with it other than keep it hidden in the bottom of my sock drawer. And as I am just getting into this habit, you all know how expensive it is and I would surely love some new toys to play with.

Awesome story, but would she of really cared if it wasn't 1ct exactly? I mean she probably wouldn't have even noticed.
