Sentinels of Terra Primary detachment:

HEADQUARTERS:

Pedro Kantor (never realized it was legal to use him in a SoT detachment until recently), 185

ELITES:

Sternguards (x10), 5x combi-meltas, pod, 315
Assault Termies (x5), all TH/SS, LRR with MM, SB and EA, 490
(note: I normally prefer the LRC, but I can't fill the LRC to capacity and the LRR saves me 10pts)

TROOPS:

Scouts (x5), srgt with combi-grav, all bolters, LSS with HF, 110
Scouts (x5), srgt with combi-grav, all bolters, LSS with HF, 110
Scouts (x5), srgt with combi-grav, all bolters, LSS with HF, 110

HEAVY SUPPORT

Devastators (x5), 4x LCs, 150
TFC, 100

Adepta Sororitas allied detachment:

HEADQUARTERS:

Uriah Jacobus, 100

TROOPS:

BSS (x5), vet SS, 2x MGs, repressor, 165
BSS (x5), vet SS, 2x MGs, repressor, 165
(note: the SS upgraded to vet for easier AoF)

So that's a total of 12 ObSec units (5 troop choices + the Sterns each with their dedicated transport); the scouts can infiltrate in their LSS then scout-move 12" to get the grav-guns in ideal position and still get all 3 shots at max-range (since scouting is a redeployment, not an actual move); meanwhile I got armor 14/13 pushing forward, the sisters will open up transports with their meltas (along with the sternguards if needed) and Pedro + Termies + Jacobus can deliver a mighty hammer blow in CC while enjoying +1A, reroll to hit and reroll saves (or wounds, as needed). Long range fire support provided by devs and TFC.

Obviously there is zero AA there, so an Air Force or flying circus would give me a nice beating but I thought this could be a fun list to try and something somewhat unusual.

I've played the game of infiltrating/scouting the LSS units forward and it never works out... it's too hard to completely hide them or else keep them alive past turn 1. If you play Tau, which ignore cover it's hopeless lol. Just reserve them and outflank them, or else spam Scouts on foot for more bodies. I don't particularly like the combi-grav option either, as it seems to work best against the types of targets scouts and their transport do NOT want to be shooting at.

I like the pod of Sternguard and Pedro in the LRR (although not sure why you would include the storm bolter... you'll never sit still to fire all your weapons anyway, so it's a waste) and it surely will hit hard.

The addition of the Sisters is interesting, but I'd try to get an Exorcist in there since it's one of the best things they have. I would even try for 2 and make it another combined arms detachment (you are already fulfilling the Troops req. anyway).

AA could be an issue, but you knew that already. I think for 150 points if you're really worried about it, a pair of stalkers could replace the Dev squad.

Tks for the feedback. The scouts are inspired by Darkwynn's LVO finalist list, thought I'd give them a try, but yeah I imagine that they're gonna be hard to keep alive.

The storm Bolter is there in case of weapon destroyed results to try and keep some of the main weaponry alive. I could strip it and use the point elsewhere.

I've never been sold on the exorcist... D6 shots can be great or a giant waste depending on what you're shooting. Specially since you roll how many shots AFTER you pick the target.

Stalker is a good idea. I've never actually tried the unit but I've heard good things, I'll definitely consider it.
